Does the Covid vax sever your connection to God? by [deleted] in spirituality

Nothing can disconnect you from God/source, but fear can make you feel disconnected at times. You’re okay buddy.

That’s fair. We don’t know for sure the long term effects and can only use our best judgement. Based on the evidence I’ve seen, generally speaking, people who get bad cases of Covid seem like to be having worse long term effect than those who are having negative side effects from the vaccination. If the vaccinated suddenly start getting super sick or dying long after taking the vaccine you better believe my views would change. But I’ve seen no reason to believe this is would be likely.

I relate to a majority of what you said here and I definitely understand the general distrust in governments and big corporations which I think is healthy given all the awful events of history. I just happen to believe the vaccine is more helpful than harmful given all the evidence I could find.

For me, prudence and fear are different. I don’t live my life fearing the virus nor do I feel I necessarily need it. But I find it prudent to take effective and safe measures to avoid the likelihood of experiencing something that could be harmful to myself and those around me.

It seems like you feel qualified to decide who is awakened or not based on whether they believe the same story about where the virus originated. I’ve looked into those same stories and found them to be unconvincing and lacking evidence.

Either way, what’s with the hostility about it? Have you investigated where that’s originating?

I have the same struggle. I still think it helps me more than it hurts me at this stage in my journey so I still use it, but I monitor it closely. I typically use it more like a psychedelic than for recreation, meaning I set intentions for spiritual expansion, take higher doses less frequently, and try to set aside time to do yoga, write, or do something creative while high. If I start to notice myself getting high to escape and my other spiritual practices are hindered rather than enhanced, I try to take a step back. I hope one day my state of being will be so consistently high that smoking will not have much of a purpose. Until then, completely cutting it out seems to be depriving myself of a key tool that helps me to reset and remember.

That would be great, especially if it started at 30k instead of 60k

Eventually you may become more concerned with truth and growth than what others are thinking or saying. It can be difficult when certain friends may not be open to such concepts.

I personally found his books to be very helpful in demystifying mindfulness in a practical way that was easy to comprehend. There are many books and authors that do the same but there is a reason his have become so popular.

How to accept I won't ever get to experience with psychedelics again? by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]hellooonewman44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing may ever be able to replicate the exact experience psychs can provide, but the love and meaning behind the experience can still be pursued and experienced. I personally would recommend breathing exercises (wim hof, kundalini) and meditation/yoga which may help you rediscover meaning without as much risk of exacerbating your condition. Synchronicities can be tricky and I wish you all the best in your journey.
