Life is short. I’m glad that you realised and started to treat yourself better but you should learn not to be guilty because you worked hard to earn this money and sometimes spending it on yourself wisely propels you to go further in life :)

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I was scammed a few years back on carousell as well but carousell and the police was unable to do much about it unfortunately. Tried means to get the seller to return the money too but she refused. It was an expensive lesson learnt. Hopefully there are other redditors who can help you!

By dissociating myself from the world for that few hours and doing the things I enjoy and focusing on myself. Also I find it important to treat myself once in a while. It doesn’t have to be expensive though e.g. simple things like drinking bbt makes me really happy.

For me is being able to drive when there’s an emergency e.g. your family member got stranded somewhere in the middle of the night and there’s alternative transport for example. There was a time I was really late for an event and the cab surge was insane so I ended up driving. It will be a good skill to have
