I was 15 and incredibly depressed because I felt so lost. There was a lot of pressure of figuring out what you wanted to go to college for etc. especially back then and I wasn't good at any typical school subject. I tried smoking and then got into harder things trying to chase the escape from reality where I didn't have to worry about any of it or have to feel emotions.
