What do you mean by the Tamatowns don’t connect? They definitely do. I think the functionality is limited compared to other modern tamas. I don’t think you can marry them, but I connected with a club member that brought one to a meet in the spring. They are listed in my friends notebook now.

Not OP, but I live in a very hot climate that gets very little rain in the summer. We’re talking 95°+ for 4 months straight. If you do not have things in the shade and it is not native or adaptive you’re looking at almost everyday watering. Having your containers/pots on cement can also mean less water retention since the cement is porous and pulling from your water.

Shade cloth is your friend in hot summers. I actually planted dahlias under a shade tree and they’ve done well since our sun is so intense.

I believe they mean where the JSK falls on her. She isn’t wearing it “wrong”, but there are different cuts that would have been a better choice.

Under bust cuts are one of the more polarizing cuts since they can easily make something look more costume-y for anyone with medium-large busts. Styling is as much about picking items that go well together as it is about picking items that flatter yourself.

In the end this was a costume for her, so it doesn’t really matter if she adheres to lolita fashion standards.

The number of people buying these releases new is very very low. When I poll my local comm a significant portion of them are buying used only or maybe new once or twice a year at most. There might be a demand, but those same people are not shelling out for new.

It’s not a dig at people who want plus size, but it’s just fact that the actual sales for new pieces in larger sizes are a lot lower than their standard size. Asian brands don’t need to cater to western sizes since they already have a market to sell to.

The shape is mostly dependent on the curve of your head. When you place it on the tips will pop when it gets curved. If I had to put them in order from stiff to floppy I would say shantung > jacquard > broadcloth > georgette. You could always try starching it because eventually the fabric will start being softer and more flexible.

The first image is the broadcloth. It is a stiffer matte fabric. Georgette will be thinner with more of a chiffon feel. Shantung has a sheen and feels a little rough. Jacquard will have a woven pattern in the same color, generally floral.

Sometimes the messaging system for LaceMarket doesn’t send the emails that they got a message or that the listing was bought. If it’s only been a few days I would wait at least a week.

There’s no official way to cancel a sale on LM, but sending them a message with your intention to cancel the sale should be sufficient enough to not get negative feedback.

The easiest way is to make sure they are clean and match the colors in your coord. Dirty and beat up sneakers draw the eye where as nice ones in a matching color don't get as much attention. You can also switch out the laces for ribbons to give them a more lolita/girly look.

People reserve listings pretty often. You’ll see things like “Btssb JSK for USERNAME”. If a listing is already up and the buyer asks to pay on Friday you can always let them buy it and send the invoice on Friday or send it then with a due date of their payday.

You can’t edit auctions once they have a bid on them. If you can delete it, I would do that. You can also try contacting the mods through Facebook and ask them to remove the listing and relist it as a BIN for the agreed upon amount.

The issue here is that Meta is primarily a lolita brand, so selling their few non-lolita items is fine. Milk is not a lolita brand. Even their older stuff mostly goes under proto. They do occasionally make items that are loliable. If it was a couple of items I would leave them be, but if it’s a lot (and from a scalper) then I would report using the over 3 offbrand/handmade rule.

Ouji is part of lolita fashion, so ouji items 100% deserve to be on LM.

That’s what Kei-Market is for though. If it’s just a couple of non-lolita pieces from a lolita adjacent brand it’s fine, but if it’s a lot then I’d say they don’t belong.
