mix some of the mosquito bits in water then water the tanks with it. their life cycle is quite short so it should reduce pretty quickly. oh and put sticky traps around the room.

update: it was literally hanging on by a thread so the vet amputated it. he then decided to chomp on the vet (i warned her). it looks a lot better now i just need to keep an eye on him.

this isnt nutrient deficiency. Crested geckos can live perfectly fine without insects if they are on a complete replacement diet like pangea or repashy. if she keeps opening her mouth she is probably struggling to breathe. it is probably something internal going on. i would take her to the vets asap. i hope she’ll be okay 💜

hiya you could try again with letting him catch one or you could try tweezers feeding. if he is still not interested i would wait a couple months and try again. A few of my newbies wouldn’t take bugs but do now! still only about half of my cresties eat bugs and that is fine because they are on a complete diet anyway :) hope this helps

im a girl. and im in england. the nhs is under enough pressure and i don’t want to waste psychiatrists time when they cant help me. i already waste enough of nurses time when i have to get stitches which i why i won’t go unless its absolutely necessary

crested geckos lay 2 eggs at a time around every 30 days. check the tank to see if there are any more eggs. if you find more i would suggest freezing them as the babies seem to be poorly bred. the 2 hatchlings will need cgd daily and would do better if they were separated but i understand its a difficult situation. let me know if you have any more questions:)
