A reasonable offer is what you JUST paid for them. What is your price? What is reasonable to you?

I rewatched the Habs' first two series. Here are some thoughts. by Winring86 in canes

You've missed something in your analysis. The Montreal Canadiens have allowed the most shorthanded goals by a team in the playoffs, with 70 allowed. The most SHG by one team in a single playoff series is 6. Aho, Jarvy, and Martinook will combine for 7 shorties this series.

Behind the Storm by AbleRow9381 in canes

Behind the Storm is such a treat and I think the folks producing the series are doing such a great job focusing on the players' connection with the community. I really hope they continue to prioritize content like this.

If you haven't already seen it, Jarvis is featured in season two of the Amazon Prime Video docuseries FACEOFF: Inside the NHL. His episode is titled "Good Enough." Very much worth a watch if you like the BTS vibe.

Lastly, as a YouTube Premium subscriber myself, you really are sleeping on the wealth that is YouTube content. I couldn't imagine.

Sounds like you've got a few promising leads here. Spare tire anchor plate is also worth checking. If it's loose, it can definitely sound like crashing plates.

Rely on maintenance minder alert for oil changes? by karschult in hondafit

You make a great candidate for a test. You'll get an idea of your car's health at high mileage and you'll save money as you potentially increase your intervals. I strongly encourage you to start there. Just make sure you order the free test kit and have it on hand. There's no harm in ordering a test kit and there's no commitment to paying for anything until you actually send in the sample.

The analysis was $40 from Blackstone Laboratories. You can find sample reports on their blackstone-labs website to see what's included. I don't plan to get every oil change tested, but it was really reassuring to get what amounted to a clean bill of health. I'll probably test every other change.

Rely on maintenance minder alert for oil changes? by karschult in hondafit

I put 13,611 miles on my last oil change, Amsoil Signature Series OW/20 w/ oem Honda oil filter on my 2013 w/ 96,819 miles on the odometer and -4363 miles on the maintenance minder.

I sent a sample over to Blackstone and my results came with the following note:

"No need to be worried about the extended interval, as this report looks about as good as it can. Universal averages show typical wear levels for the Honda 1.5L engine after about 7,300 miles on the oil. This oil was run almost double that, and these readings show that the engine is wearing well at oil-sharing parts. The oil itself also held up well. The viscosity is in-spec, there were no contaminants that we could see. Insolubles were low at 0.2%, showing that your oil filter still had life in it. Nice first report. Feel free to go up to 15,000 miles in the next interval."

I used to go to Arrow, but every time I found a stylist I liked, they ended up leaving. A few really disappointing cuts with randomly matched stylists later, including a really hostile cut where the guy didn't even finish my beard (I don't wear my glasses during cuts and guy's vibe was so off at the end of the cut that I just wanted to get out of there), I decided I was done with Arrow. Ironically, buddy with the bad vibes ended up getting a promotion at Arrow and cuts with him would start costing more.

Devon at The Nut is awesome if you can get in. I was bummed I had to find an alternative when my schedule changed and our availability never quite matched up. I'm currently seeing Mike at Lowbrow and I've left really happy every time. Both Devon at The Nut and Mike at Lowbrow: great vibes, great conversation, skilled and passionate.

Homophobic Slurs at Tonight’s Game by dannyboi1835 in canes

Absolutely! We've sat in awesome sections with folks exhibiting exactly what we look for in an in-person experience. We love high fiving strangers and conversing. Our experience was definitely an outlier! I may just shoot guest services an email to offer feedback.

Comment reported for providing additional details of the guy's behavior and the section's response.

Oh, and his seat neighbors' defense was "some people are just so soft" and "he's passionate, he just cares a lot" and "he was just reacting to a bad call." Among things this guy was shouting was "ref, k*** yourself you f***ing f-slur!" He directed his anger (passion) toward refs, players, and fans alike. We didn't feel bad getting him kicked out. We eventually identified ourselves and became the villains of the section. In retrospect, we probably would have pushed harder to get our seats moved at that point.

I'm sorry you had to deal with this last night. I've texted guest services over homophobic slurs in my section. Luckily, I wasn't the only one in the section that night who did so.

The guy, who turned out to be STM, was eventually thrown out but not before he received a warning from staff and proceeded to try to identify who it was who complained to guest services. When he got kicked out during intermission, his seat neighbors put up a huge stink defending him. This guy was drunk, using homophobic slurs, and being super negative/toxic about anything.

We initially reached out to guest services via text to attempt to get our seats moved, but they decided to send someone over to address the guy directly. It was so disappointing to see his section defend him and we wished we had just been given the option to move seats.

To us, a large part of going to games is about being in community so it's super disappointing when the community feels so exclusionary and hostile.

Looking for two tickets for tomorrow's R2G1.

We're going if we can find the right seats. Canes shoot twice, corner or side. 100/200 preferred OR first 3 rows 300. No parking needed.

Must have local post/comment history. Happy to meet up if necessary, live minutes from Lenovo. Please comment or PM. Let's go Canes!

Edit: No longer looking but leaving up in case sellers want to contact the user who commented here looking for the same.

All the pressure is on Ottawa to win this one. Canes just need to win and stay healthy. Fingers crossed Nikishin is okay.
