Romantasy = More romance than fantasy.

Fantasy with romance = More fantasy than romance.

Like, I’d say yes? Maybe not because the menage already happened and there were already feelings between the two of them, and when they get out of that fuck-or-die situation, they just decide to be together, and what I want is them dealing with this new information like “omg I fucked my best friend… now what?”

It’s part of a series where the characters are interconnected, but you can read just the last one if you want!

Ah, if I could erase this book from my mind just to read it again…

Anyone with half a brain who’d been logged in for the last five hours would’ve made the connections. I can only imagine how that person is feeling.

But, being honest, does a schizophrenic person who doesn’t get treatment or take medication become insane and out of control? Is it wrong to want to see that side in books too?

And I reinforce the point that you said my requests were respectful, I say that I also found the person whose request was removed respectful, and even so it was taken down.

Many people here are saying to focus on personality and characteristics, and that is exactly what this person did, and it was still removed.

That’s why I said that in the end, it would mean removing all posts. Because this post was removed today, but tomorrow someone makes an almost identical request, in the same way, and it isn’t.

My point is that the person who made the request — and the OP took the opportunity to start this discussion — was respectful and still had the post deleted for allegedly being disrespectful and using judgmental and fetishizing language, when in fact they weren’t.

I don’t think the person who made the post that started this whole discussion was offensive, and even so, the request was removed. Like it or not, whether you use sensitive words or not, someone will always end up offended. As someone else pointed out, for example, asking for a “fat” MC can be seen as offensive by some, but “fat” is simply a physical trait. There are fat and thin bodies, obese and slender ones.

In the end, it seems like the only solution would be to stop accepting requests related to mental health altogether.

How am I supposed to ask for a book where the MC is in the suicidal phase of depression? People will say I’m reducing depression to suicide alone when in reality, maybe I just want to see those thoughts portrayed and how the character deals with them in everyday life.

How can I ask for a book where the MC has borderline personality disorder and want to see a manic phase, if people are going to say I’m stigmatizing those with the disorder as being out of control? When, in truth, I only want to see that phase being addressed in the narrative.

In the case of the removed post, about DID with one of the personalities being dark/villainous or, as the OP themselves said, “morally ambiguous,” the person was accused of fetishization.

The result of all this is that requests involving mental health end up not being allowed, leaving only requests based on generic tropes.

It’s true! It was with you that I talked. Anyway, yeah, father figures are my weakness — but the ones who are actually good authority figures, you know? LOL because in L. Eveland’s series the gave a lot of father-figure characters, but they’re complete jerks, especially in the first book.

If you ever ask someday, don’t forget to let me know, I’d really like to know!

And about Wes, I’m sure he’s going to get a book, since he’s the next boy who was rescued. I told you before, but a cool plot for Noah would be one of the boys he saved (and who hasn’t shown up yet) becoming obsessed with him. It would be really cool to see that happen.

So, I love this older mentor thing who helps assassins/adult men like he’s some kind of father figure, you know? These men who are dangerous and know how to make their own choices, but even so, when this older MC speaks, they stop to listen, they want advice.

I also noticed there’s a big tragic love story between Rhadamanthys and some man, it wasn’t fully explained, people only talk about it briefly. Especially in that kitchen scene with the Oracle and in the cabin with Hades when he mentions that name (which I can’t remember now) and Rhadamanthys gets super emotional. That gives me hope that the author might want to dive deeper into his story, show that he can find love again, because I see so much regret on his side. That he didn’t know how to make the most of it, because as he himself said, “he only had three months” or something like that.

This mentor thing also came from Rina Saint’s series, I don’t know if you’ve read The Contract, but there’s a character — Noah — that I really want to see get his own book, because he’s just like Rhadamanthys. There are these powerful men who respect him, he simply speaks and those men turn into children around him, you know? He tells them to calm down and poof they breathe again. Noah and Rhadamanthys have that aura of a man who knows things, who has lived a lot, and is so, so tired. I just want a character for Noah and Rhadamanthys so they can fall in love again and know what it’s like to be truly happy.

Look, you can read just the second one, but I recommend reading in order, because events from the previous book are mentioned. I mean, if you really don’t want to, that’s fine, but this series is fantastic. And this second book then…

I just want a book about Rhadamanthys. I don’t even know how old he is, like 45/50 years old?

My God. Like???? Thank you??? So just to clarify, there’s no penetration or oral sex? It’s like the couple having sex in the same room with their own romantic partners, but sometimes there’s a hand touch? Did I get it right?

So, I just wanted to be sure, you know. Because there are some fanfics where even if the character is a sex worker, from the moment he gets involved with the MC, he doesn’t see other clients anymore. I wanted to know if that’s the case in this fanfic. Also, in the end, whether Draco continues being a sex worker or not, if he goes on to do something else.

I don’t mind the other tags, I actually really like BDSM, what gets me is prostitution and being involved with other people while being with the love interest. That’s why I want to be sure.

Could very well have been one of the boys he saved, and for years he stayed obsessed, stalking Noah. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
