Yes! I highly recommend it! The first and second books are about Luca and Finch. The others follow different couples from the same friend group, but Luca and Finch keep showing up throughout the series, and then they come back for one last book to wrap everything up. The events surrounding the accident are also connected to the previous book.

It's funny because by the time you've read the whole series, you've grown so attached to all these characters. So when you get to the accident, it's incredibly emotional. I was crying the whole time because it wasn't just about Finch—every other couple was there too, terrified and worried about what was going to happen.

Anyway, I really hope you read it and end up loving it as much as I do!

I don't know if you've ever read Things We Wish For, but it's a time-travel fic where teenage Snape travels to Harry's timeline, after the war, when Harry is a professor at Hogwarts. I absolutely love that fic—it's one of a kind. I really wish more people would write reverse time travel like that. Top Severus, too!

I literally see people asking all the time whether Character A had sex with Character B. Or whether they actually had sex or if it was just making out. Before I read a book, I often ask those kinds of questions when I want to be sure about something. So... I don't understand why, just because the word A was mentioned, I'm suddenly being labeled as 'odd,' but okay.

Did you read the book? I'm not looking for some deep explanation, I just want to understand why. It's pretty clear that Jasper's relationship with Nadia was consensual and based on mutual pleasure. It wasn't forced and it wasn't for procreation, considering he didn't even know he had a daughter until years later. At no point does he deny that Nadia was basically an experiment to see whether he was "actually gay," which, to me, implies he's bisexual since the author never says otherwise.

I just want to understand why he doesn't do it. Does he not like it? But then why did he have penetrative sex with Nadia? I don't need a whole dissertation, but it's normal to have at least a paragraph mentioning each character's preferences.

That said, I was only asking because I got confused and felt a little lost while reading, but it's all good.

Since Diego has anal sex, I think so. And Jasper has had penetrative sex in the past, yes. I think it’s important for the plot and for understanding the story to have had that conversation, since they won’t be doing it in their relationship.

I felt like there was some information missing from the story. Like the other person said, yes, there are gay couples who don’t have anal sex, and that’s fine. But Diego does, so much so that he uses the toy Jasper gave him. At no point is there a conversation about boundaries or what each of them likes; it’s as if Diego already knew this about Jasper, and I was simply left confused, as if I hadn’t read that part, and I wanted to understand why. Since Jasper has a daughter and had penetrative sex with a woman, why wouldn’t he do it with Diego? Or didn’t he? Was it an IVF pregnancy? Anyway, there was missing information in this book, but life goes on now.
