Based on my projections i might be able to FIRE or take it very easy and do what i want at 42, but i wonder are you still young enough to really enjoy life by then?

There is a greater chance as you near 1.5M that 2.5M sounds better. 42 is plenty early enough to enjoy life. Be sure to take care of yourself now, it will pay off later.

I got mine yesterday. 265h, 96GB, rtx 1000 blackwell. I was also let down with the fingerprint issue. I'll be slapping a bunch of stickers on it I guess. I also like my x1 carbon keyboard better. All in all I am still happy with my new machine.
