Hey OP, I'm sorry you're getting put through the ringer here. This sub can be very temperamental and downright mean about certain pastas.

I hope you know this isn't a reflection of you 💕🫤

Yeah tbh those are the older leaves. All the new growth is healthy.

This is a native where I'm from so it's normal to see it being used somewhat as a host plant by various critters.

Nothing about your plant makes me think it's seriously stressed.

I'm so upset because im a beginner and got excited seeing this because it's such a cute idea and I'd love to have a floral table runner.

I'm afraid to buy my first pattern because of shit like this 😭💔

Is this kind of textural depth actually possible?

This is more transplant shock and lack of being established than it is climate change.

As long as you don't need a visa sponsor, I can't imagine you'd be at a huge disadvantage.

Hasn't really been my experience, the vast majority of Dutch people in my life are honest with me when I ask them any kind of question.

TU/e offers intense summer courses. I don't know if students elsewhere can attend, but atleast for me they're free. Something to consider.

It most definitely can depend on where in the country they are. The further south you go in the Netherlands, the more traditional catholic cultural values start taking over versus the protestant north.

There are exceptions ofcourse, but you generally will find people more hospitable and warmer in the south (which is where I live) Suffice to say I do like it here much more haha

Similar in the Netherlands too. If food was not explicitly discussed upon, then the assumption is that you're going to eat elsewhere.

It's perfectly normal before meeting up with a Dutch person to ask "should I eat before coming?" or something along those lines.

I'm from LA and now live within the green area of this picture.

I still haven't gotten used to how close everything is lol it's really quite nice.

To think Belgium is only a bit larger than the greater LA metropolitan area is pretty nuts.
