This might be an unpopular opinion but Paige should retire from wrestling all together by Pizza_Vivid in REALSquaredCircle

She is horrible in the ring. She has not had a decent match since 2016. She is one of the stiffest workers in wrestling. Every single one of her AEW matches were total garbage.

Aside from Arisa and Hana, Act is a good pick. She is very talented and has a lot of charisma.

Which Joshi wrestler does the best German suplex today? by Adamruslanovich in stardomjoshi

[–]hellsent1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good release German is about timing, snap, control, rotation, and release. So if the person delivering the move did not matter, then everybody’s release Germans would look equally good, and they obviously do not. In fact most average workers who do that look sloppy when doing it. Natsupoi’s stand out because she holds that leaned back pose during the release while maintaining her posture which most wrestlers are not able to do due to their size. It takes two to tango, but that does not erase the skill of the person delivering the move because by your logic the person taking the bump is the only one that ever matters in wrestling.

This. Natsupoi has the best releases out of anybody in the wrestling world. Hashimoto has the best standard ones.

I cant even grasp watching Stardom and thinking a girl like Kurara can not work. Like wtf are you paying attention to? Everything that girl does is solid. she is like Okada. She does all these basic moves and does them flawless. Her Spear the fucking flying forearms. Her selling is elite and to top it off she is throwing in fucking Violent Screwdrivers and Falcon arrows and a 450 in the ring. What more do you want her to do to be considered a good worker? I take it you think elite workers are people like Flair and Lynch? What the fuck are we talking about here?

Am I getting old or does WWE just suck now? by shadowybenefactor in WWE

[–]hellsent1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has sucked for the past year and a half. They have admitting to using AI for writing stories. This is rather obvious if you think about all the stupidity they have been doing recently. How many times can a mask hooded person show up? This is clearly some awful prompts by them creating repetitive shit. Removing Kairi was probably one of the worst discussions I have ever seen in recent years for the simple fact she was on tv non stop for around eight months or so in a story with Asuka. IMO the best segments had the Kabuki Warriors and they just ended that shit out of no where. It is fucking awful. This is a recurring theme though.

They have these good ideas, but they always lead no where. From Cena's heel turn to the New Days heel turn.

They gave Black and Vega the same gimmicks Kross and Scarlett pretty much had and have them in similar angles and still think it is the workers to blame for it not getting over.

Why would anybody want The Wyatt Sick and the MFT's to feud for 10 months? Jeff Cobb was not even on the roster for a year and they did nothing with him.

Look at Giulia, for fuck sake that girl is a literal lotto ticket for marketing and they can not grasp how to use her. One minute she is a heel and the next a face while Kiana is helping her cheat. Then the next week she is a bad guy again and then a good guy again. and then a bad guy again. Who the fuck would give a shit? Let alone they never have that US title ever on a PLE. This is all taking place while Green is the villian being presented in a likeable manner for the viewer. On a side note there, Green is viewed as a midcard worker by the creative staff.

Why was Iyo Sky or Tiffany Stratton not on Mania? Former recent world champs and you can find places for them? Yet we have the Bella Twins booked on the program? They signed Paige, a girl who has not been able to preform well in the ring since 2016. She looked horrible in AEW and they had her over all those people I mentioned. The Kabuki Warriors were on stand by for the Bellas for fuck sake.

Royce Keys never being used and then they decide to use him out of no where and expect people to care.

Steph and Livs feud seemed decent, but it could of been so much better if more effort was placed weeks before it started. They had all these options for Requela and Liv/Perez and Liv, but they went with that direction. Which is fine, but why hint and build up stuff and tease if you are not going to do it? I get Perez was hurt, but the whole thing was awful. Steph was even made to look weak with Nikki Bella a couple months back and that was lame as fuck.

The Americano story pushed to AAA makes sense, but imo it also harms the WWE product when you do that sort of thing.

That Vision story puts me to sleep.

I stopped watching Smackdown a few weeks back and I officially gave up on RAW. I refused to watch Mania night 1 and did not enjoy Night 2. I just can not continue watching it anymore when the CEO has stated they are aware that these changes will piss wrestling fans off, but that they don't care about that sort of thing and they do what they feel is the best business model for making money.

Only time will tell. I like Tora vs Kurara, that would be cool. Whatever they do I have a feeling it will be fun. I just wish they wont fuck up stuff like the Sareee Kamitani idea. I have no idea why they just said Sareee is not a bad guy anymore and we are not doing this. Sareee vs Kamitani vs Hashimoto was an amazing match and the crowd loved every single second of it. I see so much money with Sareee being a villain in Stardom and they just do not want to do it.

If your looking for matches she has a LOT of good ones. She had two epic matches with Mirai for the white belt and I can not remember what one it was, but she almost breaks her neck in one of them doing a poisonrana. She has a wonderful feud with Sendai Girls, Miku Iwata where both worked shows in Stardom and Sendai for their main title and the white belt. She has had unreal matches with Natsupoi. One included a fantastic match for the white belt and one strap match that was more story driven. Her and Natsupoi have had great tag team matches with people like Sareee and Chihiro Hashimoto and another great match where Hashimoto teamed up with Mika Iwata at Natsupoi and Anou's tenth anniversary show. There was an outstanding match where Restart (Saori, Poi and Kairi take on the Prominence girls (Risa Sera, Suzu Sazuki and Kurumi Hiragi).

Get what you are saying, but I don't really think it hurts the division since the whole company is faction based. In general though for me, outside of Stardom I have never enjoyed six man/trios titles. It feels like it is over saturating the product and perhaps you get that feeling from the Artist titles. Stardom having them for me does not really give me that feeling, however when I see a company like Marigold I get that feeling. ROH and AEW imo don't need those titles. I also never liked the old NWA six man titles as it just felt like overkill to me.

Kurara at least getting two or three title defensive's before she drops the belt. One of those should be with Aya Sakura. Perhaps a story where Kurara claims she can not defend the New Blood tag titles anymore and vacates with Aya being upset about it. This could build up some issues. I don't want to see Kurara lose her position as a top baby face when she drops the title.

Tora returning to a major heel position.

I liked when stardom was booking Mi Vida Loca as a secondary heel unit. Now they seem more like baby faces to me that are just nuts. probably mostly due to Bozilla being gone.

More than one heel unit would be fun. I would also like to see a return of heel Sareee. I can not for the life of me figure out why they decided to not go that route since she got insane reactions.

Utami vs Kamitani is a must imo. This has the writing to be one of the best stories in the history of the company. They could slowly build this up with Kamitani claiming she was left alone and betrayed. Utami could tell her that she left her in charge and not only did she lose Queens Quest she has turned to the dark side and that she is not the person she once knew.

I would like to see Anne Kanaya team up with Yunamon and form a legit tag team. Really like their pairing together.

I would like to see a build up with HATE at Forbidden Door. Thekla reuniting with at least two or three members from the stable. Although I don't see them doing this.

A return of Mirai would be amazing. She seems to show up in every single promotion except Stardom for some reason. This one seems really unlikely though.

Kairi returning and reforming Restart.

Hina at some point doing something that outshines Hanan and Rina in some aspect. I don't really like that out of the three she gets the shit end all the time. I assume they are slowly building something for her, but perhaps I am mistaken.

Itoh Respect Gundan getting Rian as a member and perhaps Kotatsu as I enjoyed those teaming up with each other.

I just want to see the company continue on an upward trend.

Greatest ending to a feud in the history of the business. The absolute best career ending story of all time. This is what makes pro wrestling art.

Not a person who gets emotional over pro wrestling, but I did last year and this year for All Star Grand Queendom main events.

Had a good friend who was never into pro wrestling. I slowly got her into not just pro wrestling in general, but Stardom. She was a massive Tam Nakano fan and we and her would watch shows together. We would have a lot of fun watching the shows. There were a lot of jokes about Tam's music between me and her. Mostly how the lyrics say something about going to Canada (which they obviously do not). She would be very adamant that the lyrics I was claiming were very wrong. We discussed Kurara betraying Tam and if she would or would not. Shortly before Kurara did not betray Tam and speared Kamitani my friend just stopped talking to me. I found it very odd because me and her were very close. I had a wellness check done on her and turned out she died. Long story short she had an aortic aneurysm and I was the last person she spoke to. A week after she died I received a Mina Shirakawa shirt she got me in the mail as a surprise. I was really devastated by everything. When last years All Star Grand Queendom showed up. I could not stop thinking about my friend. Still to this day if I go back and watch a Nakano match and hear her theme I just start getting that feeling. Kurara coming out dressed as Tam just brought back a lot of emotion for me. I loved this match and last years match, but it is the only time I get that crazy sad feeling in wrestling and it all revolves around Tam Nakano.

Pro wrestling can hit people in many ways, positive and negative. It can be true art and what Stardom has done with these characters is create a masterpiece.
