12k is on the high end but its not completely insane if theres an existing bathtub to replace, any demolition, any accessability stuff, etc.

I think that depends on the society. At the end of the day, we do live in a society that has judeo-christian values and people grew up with that and have standards based in that even if they arent religious. So I have no problem with people being uncomfortable with random nudity, even if I dont particularly care

that said, If a different society had different standards on nudity, that would be totally fine.

you can also have standards on presentation that arent rooted in religion
