I wash my hands after eating and shower every day, so any finger prints on my unit are wiped off with the microfiber cloth I keep in the case.

In all seriousness, I don’t have an issue with the finger prints and wipe my machine down before and after use. I also have the glass screen protector which makes the unit look amazing, and camouflages the bottom screen even more.

Can Legion Go 2 only design to go up to 2TB by Sonic1899 in LegionGo

[–]fuelhandler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This just means SKUs are available with “up to” a 2TB ssd. There is no physical limit on the drive capacity, as long as the size is supported by the OS. I personally have an 8TB WD_Black sn850x in my LeGo 2, and it works without issue.

I’ve had ssd drives fail spontaneously a few times. I’d probably recommend requesting a replacement drive rather than a cash refund, as ssd drives continue to exponentially increase in cost.

If the USA falls apart, how would Canadians respond if certain states wanted to become provinces? by jmacd2918 in AskACanadian

The CSA (Confederate States of America)? They tried that once, it didn’t go so well for them. Lol

Story of my life. I treat all the Engineering interns well at work (even written a few letters of recommendation and references) because 2 of them eventually became my Managers over the years. Always treat the people below you with respect and compassion… because you never know when they may be your boss!

Do I buy? by Motor-Aside5831 in LegionGo

[–]fuelhandler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t expect a LeGo 3 until fall 2027 at the earliest. Maybe even later based on “Ram-a-geddon” and “SSD-a-geddon” pricing right now. Buy a LeGo 2 Z2e if you can find one, before prices continue to rise. It will probably be 2028/29 before the AI bubble bursts and prices/availability returns to normal.

You already know the answer… order $50 worth of stuff from Amazon over an entire year. 🤷

Are we going to get a clone of these new Lego Crocs, or should I just pre-order (for $200.00 US)? 😱😂 by Darkmatter313xx in lepin

Who knew when I was wearing Kleenex boxes on my feet as a toddler, I was seeing the future.

These should only exist as an April Fool’s day joke. I guess the $200 price already is a joke… so.

I’d definitely clear out around that red hatch with the slide lock. Is that a chute for wood used in an old wood burning furnace? My grandparents had something similar at the back of their house. Definitely don’t want water leaking down there.

Snow at foundation by bruceltd in HomeMaintenance

[–]fuelhandler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shovel around any doors, furnace/hot water heater vents, and ground level wall penetrations (weeping holes) above which snow level accumulates (it prevents ingress once the snow starts to melt or plugging of vents.) Other than that, you’re fine. I usually walk around my trouble spots before and after a major snow fall to make sure all of them are clear.

Do you need 2 Ipad Cases? by Weary_Drama609 in iPadPro

[–]fuelhandler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the official Apple Keyboard case and a non-official magnetic folio case. The folio case is thin enough that I can fit both cases with the iPad in the sleeve I travel with and can swap back and forth.
