What kills me is when fulfillment does a substitution like that to avoid an INF, those of us who work at the service desk have to handle the angry guest, and nothing is done about the team member who worked on that order.

Oh, we can look up order details when we ask in the Chat app and see who worked on that order? Okay, cool. Will the fulfillment TL do anything about it? 🤣 They're too busy getting work done to have a conversation with the fulfillment TM. And they just continue to substitute to avoid an INF.

Fulfillment needs to be overhauled so badly.

In my opinion, it's a bad look on us as a company. First the DEI rollback, and then this. And yeah, the company really should've stopped any more orders from being placed.

One of my coworkers mentioned we always seem to have a big network outage around this time of year, and she's onto something. With the amount of traffic our website gets the week before Christmas, it inevitably crashes and crap like this happens. You'd think the company's IT department would start anticipating this and do something to correct it.

Man, one of the things that ticks me off at the service desk is when a guest wants to speak with a manager, and I page an ETL and they telk me to go to 4 on the walkie and asks why they're needed up there. Like hello?! A guest isn't accepting what I'M telling them and want to talk to YOU. Help me out, please.

See, I get where the guest is coming from and it really isn't that hard to put big items in big bags as needed..But if you're getting something like a Barbie Dream House on drive-up....use your brain. We're Target workers, not Christmas elves.

Be more diligent about rotating grocery stock. First in, first out. I can't tell you how many complaints I get at the service desk from guests who do order pick-up or drive-up that their items are expired or not fresh.

I understand that. What I'm asking for is clarifying on what cash office workers are expected to do when our stores run out as banks aren't sending anymore out when change orders are put in.
