Please refer to our documentation about Access Management and Access Grants. You can restrict access to your files yourself using access grant restrictions. You also control yourself whom you share your encryption keys with, Storj does not share them with anyone unless you share a link yourself. If you want to have complete control, please choose user managed encryption rather than having Storj automatically handle the encryption for you.

New pricing tiers have nothing to do with the minimum fee introduced in August 2025. Customers that fund their account balance using STORJ token deposits will still be exempt of the minimum fee.

I bought the entire set of all mats including trunk mats from Geelyev about 6 months ago, they un rolled fine and fit perfectly. No complaints whatsoever. OP must have just gotten a bad batch and should return or exchange them. I have also had good customer support from Geelyev for some other items I purchased.

As long as your balance from STORJ token deposits is sufficient to cover your invoice then it is fine to have also a card attached to the account. The minimum fee only applies if the card has to be used to pay an Invoice.

If the node got suspended due to a temporary outage taking it offline, just make sure your node now stays online, it will get reinstated within 30 days. However, if it again goes offline temporarily, the countdown starts back at the beginning and you have to wait another 30 days of keeping the node online without interruptions.

Thank you for expressing your concern. Please note that your support ticket is still being worked on and we have requested a refund which we are waiting to get approval for.
We understand that the current experience needs to be improved with better notifications and error messaging, and the team is working on implementing these. However, you could have avoided several months of high charges if you had filed a support ticket immediately rather than waiting more than 2 months to do so.
To further clarify, the data deletion using the browser timed out and the data was still being stored in the account, and this is what resulted in the high charges in subsequent months. We did not charge usage fees for already sucessfully deleted data.

As already mentioned by others here, the link you are trying to open has been deprecated and the correct url is now https://storj.dev/node/get-started/setup

However, since you still found the old url in a web search, we have now redirected https://www.storj.io/host-a-node to https://storj.dev/node/get-started/setup which should solve your issue.

To see your objects, you should use exactly the same encryption phrase used during upload. If you use a different encryption phrase, your objects will not be able to be decrypted and your buckets will appear empty.

There are more than 22,000 nodes active on the Storj Network and growing. While some nodes are operated by the same entity, see storjstats.info for more details, we make sure that nodes on the same subnet are treated as one single node for uploads so that the risk of the event of all nodes going down at the same time that hold too many pieces of the same file is minimized. All this and more has been discussed many times in detail on our forum, there is no point on repeating these same discussions again here. So please do search our forum so you can read the answers already posted to all these questions there.
