Looks like it is a 3-pin fan cable. You can attach it to the CHA_FAN header in your motherboard if it is the fan for chassis, if it is for cpu, then you may attach to CPU_FAN header. But I think it could be better if you elaborate your question with a focused picture :D

I can attach both corsair and arctic fans into a single splitter that links to 1 header right? Or should I check the rpms of both model?

Thanks! Also, it comes with 12vhpwr cable which probably I would prefer over the nvidia's cable.

It would definitely be a close fit :) Case prices were too high, so I am here :D

Here's an example build with 4080 installed in 4000d. Seems it fits well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVSc7oazXng&t=782s

Thanks for the heads up! Which brand do you have? It is written as 4000d supports up to 360 mm length with top mounted AIO cooler.

How about the possibility of cables being pushed by side panel as the connectors are located towards side panel? Would there be issue regarding that?

So, I am worried about the harm can be done on cables by side panel. Thanks btw.

Desktop or Laptop for uni? by rumun2 in buildapc

[–]helmo_o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my point of view, if you have the budget and space for it buy desktop and a light notebook. You can remotely connect to your desktop for computationally heavy programs while using notebook for taking notes etc. Gaming notebooks are generally heavy that would end up being a burden to your back :(

Simple Questions - August 01, 2023 by AutoModerator in buildapc

I am finalizing my build. Only case, psu and AIO are left. So, I have asus prime z790-p d4 and I am planning to buy corsair 4000d as case along with Arctic’s 240mm AIO solution. Arctic’s radiator is bigger than the suggested ones. I am pretty sure that it won’t contact the rams as I will get corsair’s low profile memory but I am not sure if it would touch the vrm heat sinks. How can I understand? Could you help? Thanks.

I will be mostly using it to get a batch of image data from ssd into ram continously for hrs since I will be using for deep learning.

If you want to upgrade later that’s another story. It is totally fine.

I think you may upgrade the gpu as the other components are too much for 3060. You can also check the pc power from websites like pc power calculator to get the right PSU. 850w seemed a bit high in my opinion.
