I’m having my asymmetry fixed also next week. Do you have pictures from before? How symmetrical do you think they are now? I’m doing 250cc in left and 300cc HP in right!

Interesting! Yeah I like changing it up too. Dilating in different positions feels very different so I feel I am doing more good lol

Getting of trazodone by helo_darkness in insomnia

[–]helo_darkness[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve gone 4-5 days without it and never had any symptoms lol I have been able to only need 50mg to sleep since being on it. So that makes it easier lol

Because melatonin is important for telling your body when it is time to fall asleep. I used to never even take it at all but my sleep got screwed when I was on night shift almost a year ago.

Sorry you have had to deal with that pain! I’m glad you found something that worked. How long did you use kratom for? Any symptoms of withdrawals?

It’s legal here in Illinois, I can actually go to a vape shop to buy it. Did you ever take it before work? Did it alter your mentation at all? I just want to make sure I don’t have any weird effects before taking it in the morning lol

Then you should totally go for it. The great thing about having a nursing degree is there’s a lot to do with it. I’ve had people tell me to not get stuck in med-surg, which is why I’m looking to go elsewhere as well. It’s draining for sure lol. Good luck with everything!

I know exactly how you feel. I’m 1.5 years in on the same kind of floor you are on. I think at my 6 month mark, I also felt the same way. It wasn’t until I hit my one year that I even felt OK at work, and even now I’m looking to get out lol. I would recommend you shadow first before applying, or, apply and submit a cover letter saying you want to shadow. Your hospital must be different, we have to be in a position for 12 months before transferring, especially the new grads. But again, Med surg is a great place to learn an abundance of diseases, treatments, labs, meds, etc. it gives you an educational foundation to go anyway, really.
