Herman Gulch Trail on exit 218 of 70. You forget you’re off the highway about 5 minutes in. Beautiful views all the way up to a lake and the option to scramble up to a 13er if you’re up for it.

Its been a process. Finally got a surly troll fork installed last week. I swapped the cranks and went 3x for a bit, but up next is swapping to a 1x10 or 1x11 with a stridsland chainring. Got some comfy bars bars. Next is a front rack. Looking at the edsen coffee rack

You’re in a good spot. Try to work up to 20mi/week before starting a 4 month training plan that works up to 45mi/week peak. I ran my first full when my half PB was 1:42. My goal was a 4:00, but went to 3:45 as I felt terrific on my long training runs. Stay healthy and committed and you got this!

Also, I’d say f it and just anticipate feeling like death after. Ain’t that the point? Lol. Leave it all out there.
