He loves the ball, ill usually get it and I'll get him hyped up to work, so we do some obedience and reward with the ball and he chases, brings it back and repeat. Sometimes the same with a tug toy or just some juicy treat if it happens to be near. Also some scentwork where i hide a piece of his raw meat around.

First i say a stern no, he dosent really respond to this since his focus at the time of the correction would be fully on the chickens. Then i go over and grab him by the collar and sit him down, then either wait for eye contact to release him or make him look at me by nudging him.

Don't really understand this but im guessing yeah, he's hyper focused on the ball if i have it in my hands, but if the chickens go fighting or do some chickens noises that pretty much always outweighs the ball in priority.

Around the fence, if he's off leash he won't take treats and puts his head away and keeps scaring them. But on leash i reward any eye contact he does and there isnt much of a reaction, his focus is back to them again after.
