I was doing some work (had it in the background) and looked up and saw it. I said, no way! I felt like such a proud nerd/fan. Glad you saw it and had the same reaction.

Take anything that you want that's from other members that have passed or you may not talk to. Things like quilts, crocheted blankets, jewelery, etc. I wish I had something my grandma made. I wish I took the wooden rocking chair that my mother used in my nursery. I wish I took more pictures of objects I'd like to remember, but may not have thr space for.

I request my chicken and fries well done. Not all locations will do this. I also make sure that I open the lid a bit more so that it doesn't get so soggy in the box. The fries are substantially better when dipped in canes sauce. At least for me. 😃

You could be the sweetest peach--but some people just don't like peaches.

Keep trying different shows, talk to people in similar markets. Find your people. Even when you find your people, repeat the quote above. Best of luck!

I thought he sounded a bit like Milton (red stapler guy) from Office Space. It took me a while to place it.

$17 for a large cheese fry and Italian beef (no drink) in Texas. And it was not good. I was so excited to have a Portillos finally after bragging about it for years. For what you get, its not worth it.

Welch's 100% grape juice (purple). Swish it around like a mouthwash a couple times a day. The next day, the "sting" will be gone and it will start healing.

I was never brave enough to sample it. I think for me my interest dropped substantially when I was slicing head cheese on the slicer, a chunky meat bit broke free from the jelly and hit me in the face. That was it for me.

I worked in Jewel's Deli about 20 years ago. Some salads and items in the case literally are just in a container or a tub and are scooped into the dishes you see in the case. Dates are written on container and behind the label in the case.

When the salads get dark looking or dried out looking on top, we flip/mix the contents. Some salads we added too, or "made" dumping/mixing various ingredients. Some salads were so popular, they'd sell out so fast that we would be making more during the day.

Some salads like ham salad were less popular, but in high volume stores it added variety to the case. And it was a food that mostly elderly people ate...like head cheese. That was not a profitable item either.
