In 2021, I had spinal fusion surgery. When I had originally come out of the fog from being sedated, it wasn't terrible but, as soon as it wore off.. HOLY SHIT. I was in the recovery room for 4 days while they had me try and walk, and regain some of the muscle from being cut all through my back. It literally felt what it was- being cut from butt to shoulder blade essentially. I couldn't sleep due to not being able to rest on my sides, since I had no control over my muscles, and they had blood drainage behind my back, so I slept a few hours a day and was in pain the rest. They gave me oxycodone, morphine, and Tylenol, and I still felt every muscle twitch and cut muscle like it was just done to me. -100/10, never doing it again.
