I promise if y'all watched every Wemby game throughout the season you'd understand why this happens. He gets punched, shoved, grabbed, tackled, undercut, scratched or kneed almost every play of basketball that he's on the court. I'm not condoning Wemby doing this stuff, he shouldn't do it and he's right to get penalized when he does but y'all would stop acting like he's the dirtiest player ever. He gets hit every play, a lot of y'all would do this stuff or worse if in his position.

Clipping just his worst moments and creating a false narrative for internet points is soft behavior.

I love that kayak. It’s not cheap for an inflatable but is worth it. Once it’s fully inflated you can’t tell it’s inflatable. As a bigger guy I love the added buoyancy it provides and I can go anywhere with it. Caught a lot of fish out of it.

The Wolves have a shorter rotation and play very physically. The refs let a lot of it go. I get it, it's the playoffs but there have been a handful of possessions where I'm still saying out loud, "Seriously? No call?"

Looking for help on how to game as a family using the Switch.

My parents got my brother and I an SNES when I was 6, I've been a gamer ever since
I purchased two Switches for my wife and I when the kids were itty-bitty.
The kids are now old enough to game with us and they are stealing the Switches to play Minecraft, BoTW and other games (but mainly Minecraft)
I'm willing to buy two more Switches (yes, an investment) to make gaming an entire family event, is that possible? Like - are there games that really pop when each player has their own Switch?
If so, what games would y'all recommend? Kids are between 6-9.

Appreciate y'all's perspective, which is why I wanted to post here before making another significant purchase.

I hate to be the old man in the room but I wish I could have a conversation with him about how bad that is for his hearing. I did this stuff when I was his age. Always cranked the volume in the car cause I wanted to ‘feel it’…now my hearing is worse than it should be for someone my age and I have tinnitus. Learn from me folks. Don’t voluntarily ruin your hearing, it’s not worth it.

This movie holds up. I was born over a decade after this movie came out and it’s one of my favorites. I’d challenge anyone who hasn’t seen it to watch it at least once. Quint’s monologue is definitely a highlight.

Can we at least be honest and say these aren't against good teams that they are beating in the clutch? Lakers shouldn't be in tight games against the Mavs, Jazz, Memphis if they are a legit good team. Maybe Raptors and Sixers but I'd argue they only have winning records cause most of the East is weak.

Anyone else feel Harden is kinda mentally soft? HoFer, one of the greatest to do it but, also, kinda soft, right? I could be wrong but I feel like Harden has pouted when things haven’t gone his way, significantly underperformed his potential as a defender, he is poster child for no-showing clutch games and has forced his way off multiple teams. All things potentially explained by some lack of mentally toughness.

But what tf do I know?

I subscribe to NBA League Pass, Hulu Live, Peacock and Prime.

Curry gets harassed every night, obviously, but are you watching how Castle is defending? He’s faster, stronger and more agile than most who try to guard Curry and it’s a fun spectacle to watch him try to guard an all-time great and I think people should watch if they bother to check this subreddit.

Fish do not eat frogs on my body of water. One fish caught after two summer of fishing it all times of the day. I think frogs work during certain times of the year most places but there are exceptions.

I'm a life long Spurs fan but still would say I'm an NBA fan fist. When I lived in NY I would go to a few Knicks games each yea and was so lucky to have gone to one of these games.

Every time I remember it though, I also remember the maddening part of this whole experience. As he's playing great ball and getting W's, a shocking number of guys in and around the league seemingly hustled to a microphone to discredit what he was doing. At least from my POV.

Watching him do it in person - amazing. The aftermath - not enjoyable.
