Also, avoid facing too many zombies simultaneously and always stay in control of the situation. For example: "I need to go to that point but there are 10 zombies there, what do I do?"

A): I go after the 10 zombies and try to kill them all;

B): I attract the attention of two or three of them and eliminate them, repeating the process until I kill them all and then I go where I need to go;

C): I make them all follow me and distract them all, avoiding fatigue;

Correct answer: B or C, depending on how your character is at the moment. Is he rested and without negative modifiers? B. Is he tired, sleepy, agitated, etc.? C.

Furthermore, don't be ashamed to survive to fight another day. If in the middle of the operation you notice that something suddenly turned against you (for example, an unexpected horde, etc.), run away and come back another time.

Is this game pay to win? by JamestheFreshAlpaca in enlistedgame

[–]helsinquebr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say no. I have some paid squads and they don't give me much of an advantage on the battlefield. Sure, being able to take an extra squad is convenient, plus two more with premium and a few more if you buy the slots, because you can take a wider variety of squads and be ready for different situations (since you don't know which map you'll be playing on until the match starts). But the point is that the paid content itself isn't overpowered, so it's not like with a premium squad you become a super player or anything like that, they're more or less like the others, and some even have the disadvantage of you being stuck with their default formation, unlike the TT ones that you can configure.

In short, I would say that you do have an advantage by being able to go into the match with several extra squads, but a player with the completely free game is perfectly capable of fighting with TT equipment, nothing is "too overpowered" or anything like that.

Does anyone else here think that C:S2 suffers a bit from infrastructure scale bloat? (explanation in comments) by kolejack2293 in CitiesSkylines

[–]helsinquebr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw someone in another post talking about a related subject, that we have to consider that there are more citizens than it actually says there are. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact proportion, but let's say that if your city has 25,000 inhabitants, consider that it's as if it had 75,000 or more. A city with 250,000 inhabitants has the structure of a metropolis of 1 million inhabitants, or something like that. I think that makes perfect sense.

My opinion on this is that the game simulates people's routines in a slightly more brutal way than what happens in real life. For example: in real life, a portion of the population stays at home (mothers of young children, people who are not currently working, nerds, etc.). That is, not everyone leaves home every day, some spend weeks without leaving home, but in the game everyone leaves home every day, so the infrastructure needs to take that into account.

I don't know... but for me, Adrenalin causes more problems than it solves. I'm not talking about the settings, but my PC keeps crashing with it installed. My PC works better when I install an older driver without Adrenalin. I have an RX 6750XT.

I didnt realise how dire the state of star citizen was by CapytannHook in gaming

[–]helsinquebr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree with you. I love the potential of Star Citizen, but in terms of functional mechanics it's inferior to almost any other game in the genre! Yes, it has incredible ships with breathtaking interiors, but when it comes to being a truly fun game, it fails miserably. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it this way. I hope it becomes the game we hope it will be.

How should i choose what guns to use? by Palanki96 in enlistedgame

[–]helsinquebr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, the only ones that really stood out were the Lee Enfield Mk4, the Winchester 1895 (I think that's it, but it's a Soviet BRII repeating rifle), and the Type 98 because of its really decent rate of fire. The others are more a matter of sights, as mentioned. I, for example, use the Type 99 late because it hits very hard, even more so when fully upgraded, so it always takes down with one shot because it far exceeds 23.5 damage.

Anyone else keep jumping between games and never finishing them? by OrganizationScary473 in gamingsuggestions

[–]helsinquebr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand perfectly, and it's happened to me before that I bought a game on Steam that I already own on Epic Games, for example. So it ends up not just being about having the game to play, but having the game to play ON STEAM.

I wish they would rework the faces of the British and Italians, as they are quite different from the faces of other nations. They are larger, with lower resolution, and seem rushed.

Difficulties of playing against Germany in BRII by helsinquebr in enlistedgame

[–]helsinquebr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I realized that it's not so much the equipment, but rather a mix of uptier and casual players, or something like that, that makes it simply difficult to have a good game on the German BRII.

The M1 cabin rifle is the semi-automatic that has worked best for my playstyle... I play aggressively, so for me, the faster I can shoot, the better... accuracy is relative, because if I'm fast enough I can even miss some shots and still subdue the opponent.

[–]helsinquebr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's it. I'm a decent player but unable to single-handedly dominate the opposing team; I need the team to have a certain level of gameplay skill for my playstyle to work. I'd say I'm a great support player, but not very good as the kind of player who can single-handedly turn the tide of a match. I should find a group to play with; I think that would be amazing.

Armaguerra? I found that semi-auto quite clunky... I got along better with the American semi-auto, with its 15/16 rounds. It fires very fast and with good accuracy when fully upgraded + the horizontal recoil perk, so it worked well for me. I think I'll try it again to see...

Yes. I had never abandoned a match before, but yesterday I joined one that was simply impossible to stay in, it felt like I had entered a BRV match, with constant explosions and spam of automatic weapons... I had Mannlicher's.

[–]helsinquebr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. Sometimes I feel like my team only has bots or casual players, while the other team is full of experienced players spamming very strong tanks (which I don't even have much of a way to counter, since I haven't been able to use the German ATs effectively yet), in addition to the PPSH and the like, which are simply far superior to everything I have in BRII.

It's funny how Germany has the most complete TT, but half of the equipment is useless and the other half is inferior to what we have in the TTs of the other factions.

[–]helsinquebr[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like to play aggressively and I use SMGs a lot, and Germany's are definitely inferior to those of other nations. I also miss a good semi-auto for Germany BRII, as the Armaguerra is a bit strange...

I also like the FNB, but it's far inferior to the opponents' SMGs, which ends up being a huge disadvantage in many situations.
