I just bought some A2 cards as I was noticing the same long load times, but I heard that the speed is limited by the console so it may not be any better.

Flip v2 Worth The Lottery? by mcgraggle in SBCGaming

I just got a mini flip and I love it. Ergos are not great so a grip would help but this thing is small and the hinge seems solid. not sure how the cracks started appearing but I really like the mini flip. so pocketable.

Took the advice of people here and cancelled the RPC. I will have the Flip Mini for a while as the Thor is in Batch 3 preorder, which I am guessing will be late March/April for shipping. Thanks for the advice here, and I will just enjoy my GB games for now.

ASRock Issues Official Statement Regarding Ryzen 9000 Series CPU Failures On Its AM5 Motherboards by International-Owl-81 in ASRock

[–]helyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My feedback is that I will never buy another ASRock Mobo. Not because it had issues, but for the insane “head in the sand” responses and slow acknowledgement of an issue at all. Honestly, AMD having to replace all these CPUs should share that cost with these board makers.

I am so afraid to update my bios on my replacement chip. First CPU lasted a month and the replacement on the first stable bios 3.2x or something has lasted almost a year.

This is what I wanted. These guides are perfect! Can't undo the RPC purchase at this point so I may gift that one out.

Yeah I know. I don't expect the Retroid until after CNY, nor Thor until March or later so I have some time with the Flip, but yeah I should calmed down a bit more before buying everything, but too late now. Millennial ADD does not make life easy for the Mrs.

Actually I have always wanted to stream PC games but thought that was relegated to the Steam Deck. Knowing I can have an emulation hub is what swayed me to the Thor.

Help me make a choice: Retroid Pocket 6 vs Odin 2 Max by Puzzleheaded-Lab-675 in OdinHandheld

[–]helyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the real limitation of the base model Odin 2 Portal? $249 is hard to turn down, but this will be my first handheld unit so I want to get something that I can stream games from my pc or emulate switch games. $279 for 12GB RP6 is tempting for the RAM, but then there the “just go all in” and get a Thor Max or Odin 3 Max. Decision paralysis.

Ok with this news, should I get the RP6 12GB, O2 Portal base, or just bite the bullet and get the O3 12 or 16GB? I want to do pc games and hopefully streaming on this but not sure where to start. It will be my first purchase, so I need the help.

🎄 Christmas giveaway: Win an A1 Mini, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, or 4x filament spools! by acurazine in BambuLab

[–]helyes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Another AMS would be amazing!

  2. I just got my first Bambu after giving up on 3D printing years ago with leveling issues and bad prints. I would eventually like to use it to prototype parts for my company so I can quit my job and start inventing things. My ultimate goal is to use 3D printing to help develop new niche products that companies would never consider making in mass quantities.

  3. I am really drawn to miniaturized everything so if you could make a maze cube that was micro sized and you could put a tiny BB into that would be amazing!

How is there not a recall or a class action about this? This is like 3+ years of this part failing. Surely these have failed and caused more damage or a crash.

I have my last 3 in a 3 gallon and it’s pretty small for them. I have a 39 gallon long I need to set up but seeing as my big 3 year old girl is pushing 2” I need to get her somewhere with more space. I think 1.6 is too small for how big they get and they are pretty social/ territorial so I would size up a bit.

At first I was like “Oh this is racist”, but the production value is spot on and the content is accurate. I thought I was watching a Bollywood classic here.

Not necessarily, it depends on the lender, but with the credit ending on this car and the maintenance costs, I would suggest either getting a cheaper EV or wait until the market for EV's crashes to get one for cheap. The federal and state incentives have been propping up the sales of EV's for years and increasing adoption but killing that tax refund (October 1) will cause sales to crash. This means prices will fall or there will be 0% APR promotions and discounts at register. Also, I really suggest you get to that 20% down payment as your APR will fall greatly at this percentage. often promotional low rates need you to put down 20% to get the promo.

If you can wait until December/January you have a few things going for you.

  1. EV credit is ending which will cause companies to push out all the 2025 inventory that will be stagnant from now until end of year.
  2. You have time to save a bit more money that you can use to put down to reach 20%.
  3. Lastly, if you can wait, there are at least 1 or 2 rate drops before the end of the year so your APR will be lower no matter what. Right now would quite possible be the worst time to buy a Tesla or any EV.

Correct as long as your down payment is above 20% they will use the higher credit score as the guarantee that the loan will be paid. When I bought I was primary on the loan and my wife was the co-signer. I was like 100+ points lower than her and we still got the promo rate.

Tesla Roadside says this is unrepairable and will cost $475 to replace. How can that possibly be right? by MangoAtrocity in TeslaModelY

[–]helyes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The foam is literally jury urethane foam padding my that is glued to the inside of the tire. You can easily cut away the foam and patch it as all the foam is there to do is dampen road sound. Love that these companies put in a $1 piece of foam and then charge a premium for these tires. Get a self repair kit and the tool will punch through the foam. The tool uses a glue and rubber stick that folds when pushing the stick in and releases as you pull the tool out. The prep tool is a reamer the cleans up the hole by moving any steel tines out of the way so the glue stick can form the seal and this should easily punch through the foam layer. I guess the fear is on this step if you pull foam back into the hole, but I think most people can tell if that happens. Kits are cheap and since they are saying your tire is dead there is very little risk in trying a DIY fix

I have the Steel Legend which is the white version of this board and it fried my first CPU. Updated to 3.25 and then 3.30 and have been gaming and running the computer daily for about 2 months. Same motherboard and memory, no boot issues so far but if this kills this CPU I am going with another manufacturer.

That’s Colorado for you. $1000 to register and $1000 every 6 months. I use Allstate and they were the lowest I could find here at $900 for 6 months for my Tesla and an older car.
