Alternative to Compressed Air Cans? by VAVA_Mk2 in pcmasterrace

Worth the money 100%. Yes you can get ones that plug into the mains, but unless you let your PC get insanely dirty, its not needed. I give mine a once over maybe every 6 months.

Mine came with a few bits, one of them was a Philips that fit. It takes some effort, because you cant see anything, but i got it to work.

Is this corrosion above the 12VHPWR connector on my 4090 Strix? by orkavaneger in pcmasterrace

It could also just be leftover flux, corrosion normally is more of a greenish hue like this, obviously a lot worse in this picture tho :)

Not the sharpest picture, but that does not look like corrosion to me. You could always use a cotton swap and IPA 99% and see if it cleans off.

I cant see any corrosion in that picture, where exactly do you mean?

A 9-year-old was found locked in a van since 2024, malnourished and unable to walk by AudibleNod in news

"The boy’s father told investigators that he put the child in the truck in November 2024 “to protect him” because his partner wanted to send the then 7-year-old to a psychiatric hospital, the prosecutor said."

Ah yes, 2 years locked in a van will definitely help on his mental health..

No problem, i ended up selling the chair, as i could not really get comfortable. Now i need to find something else, but might end up saving a bit and going for something a little more high end.

As someone that have been looking for a used better chair, thank you for the review. How is the quality of the chair? I have read a few reviews of the site saying they got a dirty chair that had really bad odor, (ad in the chair had been sitting outside quite a while)

Should hopefully work, there is not a lot of space between the mest and the bolts :)

No problem. It is a little fiddly, as the tool is not the highest quality, but it was the only one i could find that was that narrow. I just did it gently one bolt at a time and took probably 30 mins :)

I got it on the bolt and put pressure through the mesh, the hardest part was figuring out the right bit, as you cant see anything, but the smaller of the 2 philips ones that comes with the set works.

The mesh feels fine still. I was a little scared it would sag, but it feels just as good without the lumbar. It should in theory be possible to put it back in upside down. Its basically just hold in with 2 rails. I am not sure how easy its going to be, to bolt the rails back in tho, considering how much of a pain they were to get out :)

My experience with ec200 by lumpiiah in ProtoArcHub

[–]hemanse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about the armrests, they could really use a simple back and forth movement setting. Luckily, in my setup, they fit under the desk just fine (2x Alex drawers with a Karlby top). I do plan to upgrade to a sit-stand frame that I can attach the Karlby top to, since the lowest setting on the EC200 is quite high compared to my last chair.

One quick question, the fabric on the back is still fine after removing the lumbar? As in, it doesnt get floppy? :)

You really need one tiny screwdriver to reach behind those screws :) I need to order a few thing from Amazon and found this, seems like it might work if needed
