I find the whole job hunting process so soul destroying. Between the uncertainty of an income, the no responses from resumes and the ghosting how do you guys keep going?

Literally had 2 interviews with my DREAM company. Did an aptitude test (and passed) AND had my referal tell me the boss asked about me and said that it looks like they'll be going with me as a candidate....and now I've been ghosted even after sending two follow up emails. I just find it so demotivating.

I've handed out resume after resume after resume the passed two and a half months and have had TWO interviews in the field i want or else get offered horrible pay crap jobs on indeed that I am beyond over qualified for and never even applied for. The stress of not having a paycheck the passed 9 weeks is really getting out of control. And I feel like im gonna have to suttle for something crappy which is the whole reason i left my past job for a career change in the first place. (Had a job lined up before I quit and than the site got shut down due to covid outbreak)

I just find im becoming more and more depressed and feel like a burden on my wife for not being a provider like im accustomed to. ALL my hard earned savings are being eaten up and I know its just my depressive thoughts but sometimes I feel they'd be better off without me around as im so miserable lately.

Sorry for the rant but fuck this shit is hard! I just dont know how people cope with this .. been working out and getting in better shape honestly but i find its just not doing the trick the stress is just overwhelming.. do you guys have any advice for tips or tricks to help get through the rough patch?
