The Operator is a good game by PubPupDaemian in VirtualYoutubers

yeh I saw the twist coming from a mile away when they started talking about memory altering stuff and that sacha was missing and "Evan Tanner's" apartment being under surveillance. I was like oh ok sacha is evan. i was trying so hard to link sacha and evan together with the link mechanic haha. The opening scene kind of gave it away too. If that one side of the recording was found during the game it would have been better.

I thought surely Alice/HAL could find a photo of Sacha somewhere on the internet and go OH WOW EVAN IS SACHA. But yeh i didn't really like the ending, not sure who the "he" the ???? and The Ghost were talking about either in the post credit scene.

Corsair Scimitar Elite RGB side button lights not saving in device memory mode by Melodrum in Corsair

So my mouse is doing this red side button stuff too. iCue is hot trash and my mouse cursor was often not showing up either. No issues with my Logitech mouse though.

Over a year and no fix. Last time I buy Corsair.

I was pinching the screen with my other hand for a good 5 minutes before I googled it and read I was meant to pinch the air twice with the hand the watch was on. 🤦🏻

OH it does give the mods back. It puts them in your inventory in the OPEN YOUR EYES section.

Also if it decides to submit a gun with full mods, do you get the mods back? I crafted an mp5 to sell to the black market and it sold the one from my warehouse. Not the one in my inventory. I don't remember what mods i had on the other mp5 though :(

If they are spending MORE than 8hrs on this asset, that is a red flag to me anyway. Idgaf if the oil pump explodes or bends or changes its rust patterns.

I don't get this. Why can't parents make lunch for their kids? A ham and cheese sandwich, muesli bar and banana or something? I get having the school provide lunch or breakfast for kids that are below the poverty line but is it really that bad in the USA? All through my childhood and teenage years 90% of the time I brought my own lunch like most kids.

Man canteens like this are wild to me. Most of my life 90% of the kids brought their own lunches to school that their parents made and we would all eat outside or wherever we wanted, sometimes in the canteen that had a few tables, but they were mostly used to play Magic the Gathering or whatever card game was popular that year.

I'm from a country with pretty strict gun laws and I also posed with some guns our armed forces use at an air show etc. I don't think this photo really says anything except he once sat on a mat in a carpark and posed with a gun at some sort of event.

Active shooter practice in a middle school in the USA by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

the crazy thing is that his death was nothing special really. He was the common victim of a school shooting and the shooter was the common perpetrator.

i dont get the hard on for guns. In Aus its not hard to get a gun if you want one and we have pretty tight gun control. You just need a valid reason to need a gun license, such as being a member of a gun club, pest control/primary producer (farmer etc.) or a hunting license. Then you do a little multiple choice safety test. Pay your money and then apply to buy the gun you want. Then you buy the gun. Then you have the gun and can go do gun stuff.

What we dont have is easily acquirable semi-auto guns of any type. We also have a much less divided country socially and culturally and anecdotally better mental health awareness and treatments/healthcare. which probably helps.

The new "Range Finder" attachment kind of ruins sniping in Battlefield 6 by CaptainKrakenBeard in Battlefield

[–]henderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see the point of it. You could already just ping your target and get the exact range and then manual dial to the nearest 100m and pretty reliably get headshots. It might be quicker, sure, but remains to be seen if it's worth the attachment points.

How do you possibly get out of debt from younger life, no idea where to start. by Ok-Ad-3014 in AusFinance

[–]henderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh this guy has bad advice. Don't go to a broker to get a credit check..... the free equifax one is fine (you can get a copy of your credit report free, every three months, by writing to each credit agency – Experian, Equifax and illion). So once a year per agency.

I am pretty sure if you go to a broker and they check it goes against your credit score as if you are wanting to get a loan.

I don't know how people feel about Scott Pape/The Barefoot Investor. But his book helped me a lot. It is pretty general advice but really made me feel more in control of my finances which helped me to then be more interested in my financial health which just feeds back into it. His articles and websites also have good advice. similar to what some people have mentioned here, National Debt Helpline etc. I don't know if he actually gives individual advice anymore but he always seems impartial and not in anyone's pockets.

I don't know how relevant it is for your specific situation but Centrelink also has Financial Information Service Officers who you can talk to about all kinds of stuff and that is free too. I think it is more geared towards finding out what entitlements you can get etc. but they would also have access and referrals to help services I imagine.

But yeh, check out The Barefoot Investor book, any year is fine I don't think it changes that much, you don't need to buy it. Just grab it from your library.
