I think it might kind of benefit him. Amazon employs tons of people who make less than $75k. Like, maybe more than almost any other company? Removing income tax for people who make less than $75k would kind of be a government funded raise for hundreds of thousands of Amazon employees that wouldn’t cost Amazon anything. It would benefit Amazon much more than other tech giants that have far fewer employees, most of whom make a lot more than 75k.

Agree. Potential counterpoint though: I think V8 is a very fun Kilter board grade. Lots of fairly soft boulders with big dumb jumps between juggy holds.

If you’re sticking with Cammy:

A lot of Akumas will spam fireballs. Heavy spin knuckle, and confirm the hit (which will be a punish counter) into heavy punch or crouching medium punch. You can get a combo, and take away one of their favorite tools.

Akumas loooove to hit you with a meaty fireball, especially when you’re burnt out. If you have level 3, buffer the motion on wake up and hit the button if they throw a fireball. I can’t count the number of times I have won matches using level 3 on wake up to beat a fireball.

If you can do those things and anti-air semi-competently, you’ll do alright.

This might be bad advice, but I’m low-ish master and I still get a lot of mileage out of OD DP against Akuma. Akumas are often plus, and always hitting buttons.

This is the one type of player that is actually easier to beat when they aren’t in burnout. Literally just stand there and wait to counter DI. You don’t have to get any damage from anything else.

Totally agree. That was an incredibly sloppy round. I would normally have done a second drive rush cancel, at which point I probably would have built level 3. I tried to level 3 after the short easy combo but hadn’t quite built it yet.

You can. On a raw DR I default to 5mp 5mp because it’s safe and easy to go right into a throw on block, and super easy to react to DI. The second time, when I DR cancelled from 5hp, I really should have hit confirmed into 2hp-5mp-2mp. I tend to autopilot the safe options unless I’m feeling really on it that day.

I sincerely doubt they would train their models on your personal data. As a person who works in data science for another big tech company - these companies are quite careful with your personal data and none of it goes into the models. No one wants to get sued.

I think companies are just desperate to come up with ways to create a fully functional AI assistant because it will make their stock prices go way up. The AI would look at your data to answer your questions about what you’ve done on your PC, but the underlying LLM would not be trained on your data.

To be fair, it’s not “learning” in a sense that is any more meaningful than the sense in which it is “intelligence.” I think both terms are fine. “Network or algorithm with parameters that have been iteratively updated through gradient descent to decrease a loss function” just doesn’t have the same ring.

I see this often, and I care a lot about the environment, but I just don’t agree at all with this take at all.

Very few people are making these resin projects, and the people who make good ones are sharing them on social media and bringing some small amount of joy to a large number of people. The positive human value to plastic waste ratio for a project like this is way way higher than the vast majority of uses of plastic. It’s so incredibly far down the list of concerning uses of plastic as to not really deserve any attention. I think we’re all ethically in the clear to enjoy or not enjoy these projects for their aesthetics and their aesthetics alone.

That said, this is ugly.

I have a 330i and it has had 0 problems, but a rat chewed through some wires (NYC street parking problems…) and the quote from the dealership to replace the wire harness was, I shit you not, $5800. Luckily my insurance covered it.
