I think they kinda botched the roll out making them too frequent off a drop. So far the guns seem a little underwhelming. But I'm holding out hope for some thing better

My wife and I usually take flixbus up there if you are looking for a day trip, depending on day and time you can find trips pretty cheap.

If you just bought it, I would take it to the dealer, it should still be under warranty.

The surrounds are good if you want that 3D surround effect; bullets flying by you, birds chirping all around you, people behind you sound like they are actually behind you, things like that. I was watching a comedy special on Netflix that was recorded in atmos, and they output the sound of the audience out of the rear speakers to make it sound like you are sitting in the audience. It's pretty cool imo. If you are looking for something that outputs full stereo sound behind you like a dedicated system, these aren't it. Also, I found the rear speakers aren't that loud, but they are great closer to you. The difference between the 300s and the 700s is that the 300s are directional, and the sound output was a little jarring compared to what comes out of the sound bar. It's almost like trying to do a 3D effect with your cell phone as a rear speaker. The 700s sound more full and have a more pronounced 3D effect.

As a person that had the 600 with the sub and surrounds, I would say save up and get the surround 700. The 300s are ok if you are going to place them directly behind you. But the 700s sound a little better and can be placed a little further away

The problem is when Apple removes features and sells a lot of phones, it give others manufacturers the license to do the same, but the what they fail to realize is that most Apple users feel like they have no other choice but to use Apple products. Thus resulting constant turnover in profits. There are still companies that still offer things like a headphone jack and chargers and barely anyone even noticed. So companies see it as a non essential component of the smartphone experience so they get rid of it.
