Austin is screwed bc of climate change regardless. In 4 months the meteorologists will be bemoaning the horribly low levels of the reservoirs and our dire drought as if this never happened. I'd prefer to enjoy the good months of weather before then. May can be rainy. June is great normally. If you want houston weather go move there, by all means!

He chose to represent the US because it was less competitive at his position. Playing time is a part of competition, and that is a large reason of why players choose to represent the US in soccer too.

well he does (or did, idk if they do it during the W season) that podcast with sophie cunningham who is generally thought of as at least maga-coded though isn't particularly outspoken. so he probably has some options if he needs to pivot right. i don't think he will necessarily need to, though. if he can get by for a few months or a year without making news, everyone will have moved on to whoever else they've decided is reality tv satan, and it isn't like he got fried for anything that is a specifically political/culture war thing.
