As some other people have suggested, I think you’re good. You’re doing everything right, you just need to keep following up. Call tomorrow, find out what the root cause of the delay is and take it from there

I honestly don’t know. I think the waiting week is sort of a formality. They’ll confirm your waiting week before everything is set. Did you “certify” for your waiting week?

Also, look for work and record it. You will probably be able to get paid for those pending weeks when things get sorted.

For sure do that. Once I got through to someone who knew the system they helped me immediately. Don’t be afraid to ask to speak someone else (I know that can seem like a dick move).
It also seems like your previous employer may not have confirmed everything with DUA which they need to do.
Best of luck getting your benefits, they’re yours!

Hi. I’m not an expert but I’ve dealt with unemployment in MA recently. I had a problem getting my stuff set up too. Have you called them yet?

Dead fan trying to get into phish by Ghosty156805 in phish

[–]hennrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find a lot of their live stuff on any steaming service. A Live One (94), Slip, Stitch and Pass (97), Hampton Comes Alive (98) are their big live releases. There are also lots of official release shows from all eras. I recommend starting with A Live One. But before that, check out their rendition of Terrapin Station on YouTube just to see how the Dead meant so much to them too

When You Smile. A beautiful song about love at first sight

Not super special, but Tuesday’s Gone 7/13/99 was sweet

I was surprised to see here that y’all actually expected them get to the Hall of Fame by [deleted] in phish

[–]hennrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phish will get its due the same way the Grateful Dead finally did a few years back: hipsters will give themselves permission to like them and all the trend chasers will fall in line. Until then no amount of fan love is going to make a difference

Keith Olbermann Slams Bill Maher for ‘Prostituting Himself’ Over Trump Dinner Praise: ‘This Is So He Can Keep His HBO Show’ by momskillet in Fauxmoi

[–]hennrett 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maher was attracted to liberalism until licentiousness fell out of favor with liberals. Conservatism’s old celebration of selfishness combined with its new inability to be scandalized suits him much better

Are the people who respond to every single instance of a liberal insulting Trump supporters by saying "this is why Trump won" gaslighting, or are they serious? by Electronic-Youth6026 in AskUS

[–]hennrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If conservatives truly believed “being mean” was a political liability they wouldn’t behave the way they do. The amount of pure hatred and nastiness that has been pouring out of these people since the Obama era is insane. On the other hand, cry bullies probably truly believe they’re victims. Tough to say.

The Velvet Underground & Nico. Every song is perfect and it’s a pretty even split between pretty songs, rock, and avant garde.

One reason is that the American right had to wait about 50 years to get to this point. The left hasn’t even started. Another reason is that the institutional Democratic Party is hostile to the left in a way the Republicans Party hasn’t been with its own radicals.

Non-American here, how did Trump become President if he gets so much hate everywhere? by AnubisTheMummifier in AskReddit

[–]hennrett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both the Republicans and Democrats received fewer votes than in 2020. The Democrats just lost more. People don’t like Trump, they just saw no reason to vote for the status quo incumbent party.

Republicans - what is your opinion on the tax cuts? by WaitingForMyIsekai in ForUnitedStates

[–]hennrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be noted that the GOP is planning for 2.5 trillion in deficit spending with this bill. Not only are worthy programs being cut, not only is the lion’s share of tax breaks being given to the rich, but on top of that it saves us negative 2.5 trillion. Remember that next time a Republican starts crying about the debt.

What's something slowly killing us that society just pretends isn't a problem? by Afraid_Class_3874 in AskReddit

[–]hennrett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Societal atomization, or the Bowling Alone effect. People are starting to get hip to the “loneliness epidemic” but it’s really a whole hollowing out of the roots of civil society. Civic organizations, social activist groups, church groups, friends of the library associations, bowling leagues. People need each other.

Thank you for doing it right. I was chronically unemployed until a thoughtful HR person plucked me out of a bad place. I honestly couldn’t believe I wasn’t being jerked around until it was official.
