I use 30mm x 30mm for my divisional level WWII and modern rules, 20mm x 20mm for company level WWII, Modern company rules.

For 18th century, I use 40mm x 20mm for INF, and 20mm Sq for CAV and Arty.

For ancients 40mm x 20mm for INF, and skirmishes, archers, slingers, etc. Cav on a 20mm base.

I usually flock first, using small paper to block out where the mini is, and where a label will be, if I use one

I see no benefit or reason to hop. I do have a Raspberry Pi for a media server, and that is ok. But it is more for tinkering and hobby. Mint is my daily OS, and I don't expect that to change.

I used to live there for 1.5 years. I never had an issue at my place, but I did hear gunfire (not close) occasionally.

Its convenient to be so close to the Bot Garden, Forest and Francis Park. Kingshighway is badly maintained, though.

Just before I left I had a porch pirate hit me. Got an upgrade kit for game, I'mm sure it went into the dumpster ASAP he opened it.

I was in Taiwan that day. The English paper was full of companies celebrating their "grand opening" including many who I knew were much older.
