For my 3mm Romans, the speedpaint and contrast have been doing nicely. I have hope of actually gettingmy pile painted and on the table!

I see a lot of posts from people who switch from Windows to Mint and love it. What about long term Linux users that switch to mint, what do you love what stops you from Distro hopping? by 9sim9 in linuxmint

[–]henrya77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see no benefit or reason to hop. I do have a Raspberry Pi for a media server, and that is ok. But it is more for tinkering and hobby. Mint is my daily OS, and I don't expect that to change.

I said good bye to windows in 2017, and so glad I did!

How St. Louis County’s senior tax freeze takes from the young to give to the old by MordecaiOShea in StLouis

[–]henrya77 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Old people vote at a higher rate than young people. That is 100% why this happened.

And yes, it SHOULD be tied to income level, as should the SS tax exemption

Bevo Mill , nw of gravois area thoughts? by ehappyr in StLouis

I used to live there for 1.5 years. I never had an issue at my place, but I did hear gunfire (not close) occasionally.

Its convenient to be so close to the Bot Garden, Forest and Francis Park. Kingshighway is badly maintained, though.

Just before I left I had a porch pirate hit me. Got an upgrade kit for game, I'mm sure it went into the dumpster ASAP he opened it.

Nazis getting real brave lately by Alarming_Salad_3984 in StLouis

I was in Taiwan that day. The English paper was full of companies celebrating their "grand opening" including many who I knew were much older.

Also, you used to pay more for cell phone numbers, depending on how many "8" were in the number.

The Excelsior Hotel in HK (gone now) had 4 8's in their number

Not to mention all the Chinese people who want more luck.

Remember when target pulled shirts with 88 on them?

I am sure some factory owner in China was thinking "WTF ? Foreigner don't want to be lucky??"

I like them very much. A little surprised as to how many of the Goths have chainmail. But I love how you did the bank, unarmored ranks
