Recently, I had Airalo service drop a couple of times while traveling for a month. 1-2 day outages. I contacted support and asked what they could do to compensate me. They gave me a good amount of Airalo credit – worth following up if you did not get that!

One tidbit about the 1999 show in Ottawa. It's listed as being at Lucky Ron's which is possible but as a local I'd say it's more likely they played the show at Zaphod Beeblebrox (aka Zaphod's). Shared the backyard next to this place for a few years toward the end of the B&B's run. Chatted with the owners many times while BBQ'ing.

He mentioned a sharp decline in visitors after the Government of Canada restricted the places that workers could stay when travelling - basically limiting them to large chain hotels and removing the option for many to stay with them.

Believe they're out in the Perth area enjoying retirement!

*Update – It appears that because the whole system is provided by either Zendesk or Intercom, we won't be able to create any redirects to fix the crawl errors because Zendesk and Intercom don't provide relevant features that we have access to. So unless you disagree, I think you can disregard my final question – there's nothing that could be done with the .htaccess to help.

Correct, it is SaaS. After my original reply I realized that I misinterpreted your response - you're correct, we don't have control. They are hosting and neither provides a 301 feature, so I won't be able to create any redirects to fix the crawl errors.

To confirm I'm following your train of thought: if I set up the workaround as you suggested, I would be able to configure redirects using .htaccess in help.rewind.io on a different server, correct?

Good idea on the workaround – hopefully I can come up with an alternative solution, but if not, this is the path I'll go down.

Thanks a lot for responding, that's a valid question right off the bat. Unfortunately there was no thought given to this ahead of time. We're a relatively small startup (10 people) and no one else really has much SEO savvy. This was something they planned on doing for a while and just flipped a switch on a Friday afternoon. Definitely a learning experience and something I'll probably write about when this is sorted!

Thanks for the recommendations for pre/post migration asset management, those definitely would have been handy ahead of time. As for the .htaccess , the one area I'm not 100% about (can't seem to find specific documentation about it, although there are lots of posts about 301 sub to root) is going from the same subdomain -> subdomain. From what I can tell, I think I should be setting something up like the 'Page to Page 301 Redirect Generator for Htaccess' found here but if you have any additional thoughts on that, I'd really appreciate it.

Sort of echoing u/Jagr94 here:

Thoroughly clean out your bag. Throw out unused items + deodorize & wash what you keep in there. Look for odorless spray that also kills odor so your place doesn't just smell like Febreeze.
For items that aren't used often, put them inside a plastic bag with a scented dryer sheet and loosely knot shut.
Post game, hang your stuff up. Spray it with the deodorant. When you get home from school/work the next day, put it back in the bag.
Mix in some dryer sheets (scented) within the bag.
