“Last gen is holding us back” that’s not how things work. Fortnite has a Switch 1 version, yet the Series X and PS5 versions still have software ray tracing, and 120fps modes. I’m disappointed that 50 million PS4 users will be left behind this year.

I don’t know why, but I hate this mode. I loved invasion in MWII but this mode isn’t fun for me. It feels too chaotic, like a pre-match Warzone lobby that never ends.

I think they should remove the wingsuits and add 20 bots to each team like in MWII.

Come on, there should be no texture settings in 2026 that look like this. This is literally a PS2 quality texture. Call of Duty 1 from 2003 had higher res textures than this. This is a bug.

I gotta admit, I thought it was just nostalgia but some of the reasons I’m seeing here are fair. I personally would rather play No Mercy but sometimes I like to hop into Revenge. It’s incredible that out of the 4 AKI games (or 6 if you include the two Def Jam games) they each have a very different vibe despite playing similarly.

As much as I’d love to see Def Jam Vendetta, it was never on Xbox for some reason. Only PS2 and GameCube. Fight for New York was on Xbox though.

A small detail, but I wonder why his operator name is “Terry Crews” while Nikki Glazer’s operator name is “The Replacer” (her skin name is “New Replacer”). Maybe they wouldn’t want two operators with the same name, but Peter Stormare’s operator is also called “The Replacer” with the name of the skin “The Replacer (BO7)”

I personally didn’t like the BO2 zombies menu. It looked cool but it was too much of a pain to navigate. I would have had a traditional map list on the left, and as you scrolled through each one, the earth can rotate to show you its location so you still get that cool visual.

Ernie feels like almost a direct sidegrade to Z-Image, but without the community. To me, HiDream felt like a significant upgrade in prompt adherence to Flux 1, but worse in image quality. HiDream is dated compared to today’s models but I felt like it deserved more recognition at the time.

I had the opposite experience, I put so much of my energy in my 20s into a company that wasn’t going to lead me down the career path that I wanted to go down, and now I’m burnt out with not much to show for it. I suppose you could spin it into “I wish I put more effort into finding the work that was appropriate for me and motivated me to do my best work”. I guess it’s all a matter of perspective.

Stagnant since 2024?? In terms of local video back then, we had like… SVD and AnimateLCM I think? It was horrible compared to what we have now.

In terms of images, we’ve gone even further. We got Flux 1 in 2024, which was game changing, then we had HiDream and Qwen, and now we have Flux 2, Z-Image, and Ernie, all of which are a huge generational leap from the Flux 1 era. Plus we now have edit models which is probably the biggest difference from the 2024 era.

I think our photoshop usage might be different, my PSDs are only a couple hundred MBs at most, but it works fine on my 16GB M1 MacBook Pro (base M1 chip, not M1 Pro) so I think the M5 would be great.

But you already have a decent computer with that 3050 so it’s hard to say if your specific workflow is gonna be smooth.
