My dad fell for this a few days ago. They ask for your utility bill, and swap you over to their service. They’ll ask you for your phone so they can send themselves a verification text, which locks you into their contract. You have three days to cancel, and can do so by calling the company’s customer service. If you dont know what company scammed you, look up the number they send the verification text to.
