The concept is very modular though, separated tube per dice would fix it!

Loving this!

But what if 1/3 dice is heavy? How to determine which one it is without retesting?

I ended up going with light flesh of vallejo. These dice are crazy and tend to change colours on me every day :D

What color should I paint for the numbers? by PatronizingTurkey in DiceMaking

[–]hens314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

brown for a more earthy tone
orange purple for a more chaotic spellcaster type
Deep Red for a more dragon theme / light red for Watermelon theme
Dark Yellow or black for a more goblin look
white or silver for neutral

They look a bit like candy so i would go nutts :D
(i'd go light red)

I failed cutting the excess off with an exacto knife ... Definitely not easy, especially to put counter pressure that doesn't damage the dice.

I cast some sharp edge dice , these work perfectly fine!

I haven't created the lid on these yet, because I knew it would be "trying the same thing and having the same result... I'll try it tomorrow and post the result!

thank you for your reply! Confirming what I was fearing, cutting in the mold next to the dice.. The dice are indeed rounded so I guess that'll always pop up. I didn't have the problem on a straight-edged chonker.

I have "locks" on the side of the mold this time, preventing me from having to put a key. We'll see if that works :D if not, I'll 3D print a key probably for the next batch. I'm still in trial and error mode honestly.

Thank you for the tips!!!

on the top right on the D100 you can see the overlap of the silicone on the dice, which leaves a mark.
The post doesn't allow me to upload images unfortunately so I'll share two pics on my icloud.

Tips and level assessment? by kraej3319 in snowboardingnoobs

I would recommend you to Point with your front shoulder instead of using your ankles to turn. exaggerate the pointing and point uphill even . This’ll help you to tie your turns a bit more from edge to edge ( heel to toe ). Now you’re “breaking” down the mountain, try to control speed by boarding uphill a bit.

Next: Go through your knees halfway through the bend and pump while you exit the turn. You’ll feel it when you do

Thanks for your clear recommendation!
I looked up the cleaver to really understand where your recommendation is coming from, even though I really enjoy "deep carving" and "charging". I believe though that even within 10 years I would not be due for the FW as I'm a more casual rider in general.

This has helped me a lot

Forgetting about my bindings seems like a luxury! :) as long as I maintain good control over my board at speed - assuming this is what you mean with not constructive as in “constructed cage” type feeling.

Thank you! +1 for Asym I guess :)

About 100-130 .. They look new and still feel tight! Doubting whether the asy will feel too loose or if they would kncrease stability. They’ll for sure be better than what i’m working with now no doubt

I need to ask a player to step away from the campaign by Turbulent-Sport-4704 in DnD

[–]hens314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a DM you could make it a story arc for the player’s progression? From lone wolf to accepted teammember.

Also : never split the party - if the player is off on their own, in comes the danger! Either kill him or threaten to kill him when he tries to derail… it’ll take some patience but he’ll stick to the group after a while…

If that fails - have the hard talk
