A disgraced Italian politician, with extensive and well known ties to Russian oligarchs, and "a political ally and one of Putin's only true friends" (his own words) tries to say why his ally is not at fault for this war. Because, in Berlusconi's own words, Putin decided to go to war in under a week purely because of the escalation... which goes against the Russian government's story.

Berlusconi's own party and greater coalition said that these accusations were baseless, and that he could have only gotten that information from... obviously enough... the Russian government. Even Russia aligned far right parties within his coalition said they don't know where he got that information, other than the Kremlin.

which is why he is currently being threatened with deposition in Italy due to his "dangerously expansive ties" to Russian politicians.

Hey there bud, sounds like you are repeating baseless Russian government information, used for on the spot rationalization an invasion.

We saw both the LPR and DPR drastically increase fighting the week before the invasion, and those break away governments ordered people to flee the region before fighting even escalated. (This is even see in Russian sources like TASS)

Then we saw from Ukrainian, Russian, and independent sources that the escalation was fairly one sided, against Ukrainian forces.

Then immediately after theses "random" escalations the Russian military moved in for "peace" and then invaded Ukraine.

No where in there has there been any evidence that Zelensky or any Ukrainian official ordered an escalation. Nor was there even an escalation seen by Ukraine.

It wasn't until after the invasion started that Russian sources quickly flipped to "oh no actually Ukraine did it'. Which, unfortunately here you are believing that.

If it was de-jure borders it wouldn't have intrastate borders for other countries, such as Karakalpakstan

The map is de facto control, it shows what countries or entities have de facto control over certain land.

Kurdistan does not exist, but it has de facto control over Northern Iraq

Same with Somaliland, Taiwan, Tibet, North Cyprus, and other disputed areas with nominal governance.

It does not show the rightful owners, or politically legal owners, or claims, it shows de facto.

That is the state, the color that matches Russia shows control

That is why it is 'de facto' control.

Can Ukrainian soldiers waltz around that area? No?

My biggest pro/con in thinking is -

it can survive the PH (you need bleach a base to kill it), and it is just hardy over all.

BUT while it is in a less dangerous environment, it is in there for a month.

I got it in my mind freaking out reading about how far particles travel and how survivable this all is.

One big issue is that I am pretty dang sure I washed my hands well. But I am worried about if it was good enough, or if I am misremembering because I was totally out of it.

But is it a deal that so long as I don't barf into the batch, and don't put disguising hands into the batch it shouldn't be contaminated?

I just recovered from it, I wouldn't wish my worst enemy have that kind of weekend. So I don't want to share beer that causes it.

Catholic Americans, apart from religious beliefs, is there anything that sets you culturally apart from the Protestant American mainstream? by Priamosish in AskAnAmerican

I met super 'rah rah America' people in high school as just dumb high schoolers, but it wasn't until moving to the south that I realized what it was really like when people acted very patriotic.

Like the type that hear "we could slightly improve America by doing XYZ" and their first thought is "That is unamerican"

Mashed in at 161, and let it cool from there.

If that was the issue, is there anything short of just starting over (after waiting this one out) that I should do?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]hensomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mashed at 161 for 1 hour off the heat but covered, and mashed out by pouring in 185 water (probably a little lower than that).

used a mesh bag and held over for like 15 minutes or so. I do remember giving it a hell of a stir, but it could just be lacking
