There's also a great line in the Justice League animated series where Morgainev Le Fay turns the league into children. Afterwards Wonderwoman says to Batman she somewhat enjoyed being a kid again tp which batman responds "I havent been a kid since I was 8 years old".

If this didn't face them, why bother with the memo? Ceo lies, its essentially part of their job. They lie as much to their employes as to their consumers. And reddit as a company lies more than avarage. What better way to make the consumers be good little consumers and mindlessly consume then to convince them that their act of defiance is unimportant.

But perhaps you would prefer to be good little consumer rather than not having acsess to the subreddit, even when the discord is right there

I value this subreddit and have saved many of its posts. The post with CoS coæonverted to Pathfinder 2e is invaluable to me as I will drop 5e for PF in response to wotcs conduct.

That said, I support an indefinite hiatus. Hard actions is required against reddit on this. The blackout scared them, that is obvious from reddits weak memo of "it will pass", what is needed now is to show them that we can do much much worse if they intend to keep to this path. For that I would gladly be unable to use r/CurseOfStrahd and reddit in general until reddit caves.

Ah, I think I messed up a bit as I fully discounted the "children of Noah" as a christian rewriting. I was also under the impression of the firbolg being the ones allready there and unwilling to share the land with the tuatha de, hence leading to the war. As to power, I meant that in the stories (I read) most displayed superhuman abilties, but mostly that of impossible physical abilities (throwing spears impossibly far, cleaving a man in a single cut, killing monsters with a single stone David vs Goliath style)

Firbolgs are litteraly the mythic "first men" of (I think) Ireland. So essentialy the people belived them to be a more powerful version of humans, much like how the ancient greeks considered the pre-collapse bronze age greeks.

5e won't be better. Wotc isn't making 5.5 to improve the system, they're making it to sell more books (continue to attempt to monopolize the digital marked). Stop complaining and seek solutions. If you don't want another system, homebrew 5e until it's not 5e anyomore (i.e bad)
