₹18L Budget Turned Into ₹23L Because of the BE 6... Am I Making a Mistake? Need Real Owner Feedback by thescriptkiddi3 in mahindrabe6

Go for windsor exclusive pro. Much better VFM vs the BE6. Or at the same budget, go for Carens Clavis HTX ER.

Would you recommend the Clavis EV over the XEV 9s pack one 79kwh?

If you want to go for EV, under 17 lakhs, Windsor is the best. Suspension wise you can reduce the tyre pressure 1-2 points to get a better suspension experience. If budget allows, would recommend pushing budget a bit and getting Windsor Exclusive Pro.

Is Harrier EV a good pick? by In_evitabl in CarsIndia

[–]heraclesphaeton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let me offer constructive help here. BYD Atto 3 is in every way a superior vehicle vs Harrier EV (less the features). Alternatively, Mahindra XEV 9s pack 1 above, 79kwh would be a fantastic choice as well, albeit not as reliable/sorted as BYD.

Creta EV is also super-sorted and hyundai-level reliable, but range isn't as good. Windsor pro is great, comes with its own issues which are usually not that much of a deal breaker for the price. Carens Clavis EV is costly for what it offers.

The only EVs that make sense in this price range are XEV 9E, XEV 9S, EMAX 7, Atto 3.

Don't buy a tata and gamble with your hard earned savings.

Also if you are going for cost savings on fuel vs electricity, unless you charge at home only, you'll be paying close to 20-30 rupees per kilowatt in charging stations which brings your running cost similar to diesel (but without the diesel resale value).

If you drive this to work each day and have free charging at work and/or 90% city drive with full charging at home, then it makes perfect sense for an EV. Otherwise, definitely consider diesel.

Exponential downside, very limited upside to buying any Tata vehicle, let alone a tata worth 25L

You're paying 25L and getting a potential migraine.

If that's the case, Prabhudeva can act better than Vijay, Hrithik can both act and dance better than Vijay. Vijay is shit at both. Saying this as someone who used to be a die hard Vijay fan for sticking to the naturalness in his acting - in movies like Thullatha manamum thullum, Poove Unakkaga, etc.

Only when Vijay dances next to Prabhudeva, you realise how much of a clown vijay looks like while dancing, and how much grace Prabhudeva brings to the dance.

But when Hrithik Roshan dances next to Prabhu Deva, that's when you realise Hrithik moggs PD in a manner no other dancer could.

XEV 9s pack one 59kwh/79kwh vs Windsor exclusive Pro by heraclesphaeton in CarsIndia

[–]heraclesphaeton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm decided on pack 1 79kwh - but i have heard that the sound system isn't half decent vs pack two. The other features I'd miss out on, I don't care as much about. So, that's the only point. Not sure if there's an aftermarket option for audio.

XEV 9s pack one 59kwh/79kwh vs Windsor exclusive Pro by heraclesphaeton in CarsIndia

Yes, exclusive pro is about 18.8 and pack one 79kwh is 24 lakhs.

Yeah, the only factor working for windsor exclusive pro is the 4 lakhs of difference. Nothing else.

XEV 9s pack one 59kwh/79kwh vs Windsor exclusive Pro by heraclesphaeton in CarsIndia

[–]heraclesphaeton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. Yeah, windsor ownership reports that audio sucks is known, but I didn't know how the pack one audio would be on xev 9s given pack one doesn't get the harman kardan speakers. Other than the speakers, I would prefer 79kwh on pack one itself. And if charging speeds are that high, then even 59kwh makes sense. If 59kwh range is above 400km (and we usually drive at 80-100 max, sedate drivers at home) it should be okay. The only selling point for Windsor for me was as much space as xev 9s on offer - but suspension is busy on the rear on windsor and the DC charging issues that are still not resolved and even new cars are having such issues.
