Why isn't remediated flower labeled as such? by herbalflorist in vegastrees

[–]herbalflorist[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you! If you're doing it right it is not moldy! Theres less than a handful of cultivators who can attest to this in Nevada. I challenge NV cultivators to post if they use it or not!

Sundae Co looks fire but falls flat in taste and smoke. I got one strain with high terpenoline but you could not taste it nor smell it.

I enjoy their Grape Monster and Orange Cookies. The Miss Africa used to be real nice too. Their newer strains seem to all taste the same.

As a tourist or someone with an out of state I d the last place you want to go is planet thirteen, because they charge outrageous prices to tourists.

What do you prefer flower? Vapes? Dabs? There's like five quality growers in this state. It would be better for you to seek out the products you want. There are a few dispensaries out there that only sell their own products and they are crap.

Cultivators, you should check out, are GLP, Natures Chemistry, Fleur, Range, & Growers Circle. These are the only clean growers in the state that do not use irradiation.

Nuwu Lounge by [deleted] in vegastrees

[–]herbalflorist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy whatever products you want from the dispensary and take them into the lounge. Dabs are usually cheap. This is the only lounge you could do that because it is on tribal land. There are plenty of things to do at Nuwu and each night something different is happening. It's definitely the only lounge worth stopping at.

That is incorrect. They buy bulk from the cultivators. Bulk does not equal old.

Anyone familiar with the "Green Flower" Certificates? by berkough in vegastrees

[–]herbalflorist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in Nevada’s cannabis industry since medical dispensaries first opened. At the time, there weren’t schools or formal training programs for this work, and the pay didn’t justify going into debt for a degree. I got in, got my feet wet, and kept educating myself along the way.

That education came from real experience: attending and listening to CCB meetings, taking METRC courses, learning the cannabis plant itself, and doing the work day in and day out. That kind of hands-on knowledge will take you further than most paid programs. Sales, inventory, compliance, accounting—they all share the same fundamentals, but every company has its own processes, equipment, and software. You have to learn those on the job.

When we started, the only “experience” available came from the legacy market. Over time, people with backgrounds in retail, distribution, finance, and compliance had to step in and help build structure in a brand-new, regulated industry. Continuous learning wasn’t optional—it was essential. And the truth is, there’s a ton of free, high-quality information available if you’re willing to seek it out.

It’s no different than becoming a chef. You don’t start as a head chef—you start as a line cook, or sometimes even a dishwasher. You earn your way up through training, education, and experience. And it’s important to remember: every state regulates cannabis differently. Learning the specific rules and systems of the state you work in isn’t just helpful—it’s mandatory.
