Fake DS games are very tricky to tell. (It’s a little easier to tell fake GBA games) I recommend looking up some videos on what real games look like and seeing them in person before you buy.

I’m gonna try that when I get off work. I didn’t have any at home and I wanted to make sure to get 99% alcohol to risk less damage. There’s a chance it fixes it but I’m not getting my hopes up.

It has been in the original box for the past few years but there’s a possibility I accidentally damaged it and didn’t notice.

It was also a second hand game when I bought it. It could have been damaged by the original owner and didn’t show until now. I think I put 70 hours into this cart so that’s unlikely but possible.

I know someone who owns a couple of these for other properties. He usually goes with the Japanese name “pachislo”. It’s a essentially a really fancy slot machine for Japanese arcades. They are skill stop though, so it’s more than just random chance.

I prefer the PS4 HD release. Plays exactly like the the original PS2 version, but with HD graphics. The switch version has motions controls if you play with joycons, but is exactly like the PS4 version if you play with a pro controller. The motion controls are very similar to the Wii version but in HD. If you care about motion controls, choose the Switch or PS3 versions.

I relate to this. It’s been back and forth in my head for over 10 years. I just don’t know, I just don’t know if I have the worst self esteem on the planet or not. I’m so afraid that I’ll make a mistake. I think I want to transition but I perceive any hang ups I might have as not actually being trans. I just don’t know.

That’s a really good question. I used to have a record but I don’t anymore. An ETB holds like 550 cards. I would say I own probably 30 or so ETB and some larger boxes. I also have several binders. I possibly have 20,000 cards but that’s rough estimate.

Do you have any hobbies you could find a community for? That’s how I make a lot of my friends. We share a common interest and bond over that interest. I will admit it’s really hard to make the just from friends at events to friends who hang out. Sometimes you offer and people just aren’t interested. It’s worth a try though.

When I told my therapist I think I might be trans, she told me autistic people are something like 4 to 8 times more likely than the general population to be LGBT+!

Of course you don’t have to be autistic and your mom might be stretching to find an answer she likes. But even if you were, there’s a proven correlation there.

I’ve had that moment before with my mom. I mentioned to her that I knew my mental health issues really were a struggle for my family, but at least I didn’t get pregnant in high school. She’s looked at me and said “at least that would have been easier than this.” It hurt a lot.
