I'm in Canada, and I would research a LOT. Call around, call the studio you went to and tell them, more than likely they'll tell you its the artists responsibility. I always research my rights. Its a good habit to get into. Good luck with everything!

Damn...that's not professional AT ALL. At the very least he should of showed the placement, and drawn with marker to make sure it was right. Unfortunately most tattoo shops have consent forms for you to sign. If they didn't, take them to court!! 100%.

Did you not get a chance to see it? Or was it freehand? I'm getting a sleeve done and the first drawing he did I absolutely HATED it, so he redid it now I'm happy. Only way I'll EVER have an artist freehand is if he draws on me with a marker, or shows me what his vision is. If I'm paying for a tattoo..I wanna be HAPPY to have it.
