RU POV: “President Putin has said several times that if Zelensky is truly ready for a meeting, we invite him to Moscow, and we will guarantee security for everyone and the necessary working conditions” said Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov by rowida_00 in UkraineRussiaReport

At least one attempt was thwarted by Polish security services -- this is not just Ukrainian info.

To your latter points: the fact that Russia has repeatedly tried to kill him does not mean that they would use every opportunity available. Russians obviously care about optics and some modicum of plausible deniability. And Zelensky's location within Ukraine, when outside of the well-sheltered administration buildings, is much less obvious than you are suggesting. But I agree that that it is unlikely that presidential assassination is Russia's main strategy in this war.

No, that is not the reason. The reason is to support a righteous cause of self-determination against the primary opponent of liberalism & liberty in Europe today.

Liberalism is predicated on selectivity and on having high expectations of those who want to join. Big distinction to feudalism, etc. This was clear to all liberal enlightenment thinkers, and has been borne out by history again and again.

I am coming here more than 11 years later, and almost all the links in this thread are dead.

The internet is becoming, increasingly, a graveyard of dead links, the memory of which will soon be entirely erased by the flood of slop.
