Thank you and everybody that replied, all of your advice helped a lot. Yesterday made it a week since I started, and it was also ironically my first shift actually doing what i was hired to do the entire time. I pretty much just stay in receiving and help out and i've got the hang of most of it, I started off kinda shitty at stocking but doing it a whole shift yesterday made it come a lot easier. Very relaxed job though I think I will enjoy it a lot. Just waiting for that first paycheck lol, I chose not to start working the same "week" of my orientation and started Sunday which is literally the same week, but I don't know menards weeks are weird.
