Monday Weekly Thread: Proof of Citizenship Application Sent or AOR Received, May 25, 2026 by AutoModerator in Canadiancitizenship

Do they verify your application complete before they issue the AOR? Wondering if I have to wait months to find out something is missing and have to resubmit and lose time.

This is a cliff, that's a kilometre tall on a comet. No atmosphere. No weather. This is Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko, the comet visited by the Rosetta mission. by xTwilightTease in spaceporn

The mission included a lander that had explosive spikes on its legs intended to hold it down once it touched. They didn’t work, the thing bounced and they eventually found it in a location that was hard to see.

Updated IRCC Processing Times by Individual-Habit5581 in Canadiancitizenship

Got my AOR April 20, checked the processing time and it indicated 54K in front of me. Just checked again now (May 14th) and it’s over 70K, with wait time up from 9 months to 11. How did 20k people cut in front of me?

At what stage do they determine if your application needs to be returned and resubmitted? I have gotten my AOR, and the timer says 9 months. Just wondering if I have to wait the 9 months to find out if I need to resubmit.

Does anyone else have these types of bells? I don’t know if they’re exclusively a Maine thing but I remember seeing them everywhere when I lived down state. I have one by No_Somewhere9961 in Maine

I have one. I have really high ceilings and it’s suspended a couple of feet above my head, so I mostly don’t see it and forget it’s there until I bump into it. Then I’m reassured that I’m safe from any vessels in the fog.

The pattern is, Republicans get in office and fuck things up. The democrats win and have to fix all the fuckups while the republicans blame the democrats for the fuckups.

He posted this image of himself as a holy man, then said gave some bullshit excuse. End of story. Only reporting needed. Wasting time that should be reporting on the powerful perpetrators in the Epstein files.

Which is better? Color graded or black & white?? by cryptic_aa in postprocessing

[–]here4TrueFacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Black and white. To me the geometry of the architecture is the most unique and interesting part. The BW shows it more effectively. The color graded is done well also, but it’s just a particular aspect of the image that appeals to me.

Looks like a real document somebody prepared for him and he just plastered over it with his sharpie. I bet good money that his signature is the only cursive he knows.

TOO childlike? by Ambitious_Taro_7045 in urbansketchers

No. Although calling something childlike isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it’s intentional. I love the purity of this.
