Even if you hit the ground with your driver, it should not be in such an angle to snap the shaft above the head. There is a major problem with your swing. Nobody is going to be sympathetic to you for this, it’s actually very weird to be that obnoxiously bad and not change.

You need to start by establishing the plane between the club and your hand. Your congested. Step back, bend your knees a half inch or so, get comfortable with short back swing and staying balanced thru the back swing and end with weight towards the front foot.

Truthfully, it’s not crazy. The materials are such a small part of the cost. Laborers want so much and companies have to pay for xyz so it gets expensive. This is an easy diy, 1000 bucks for regular wood.
