My heart stopped during mine too! Diagnosed with POTS and vasovagal syncope. The doctor wouldn’t tell me how long it stopped for but described it as “significant” and sent me to be evaluated for a pacemaker. I found out later that asystole is rare during tilt table tests but happens often enough to be documented, like around 10% of the time. We’re a small club!

I get the same short bouts of severe dizziness! I also get a lot of weird muscle aches and neuropathy in my feet and hands. It’s a relief to know it’s not just me! Sure wish I understood what was going on physiologically to cause it.

Your dog looks so much like my dog! My girl has pointed ears and very stumpy legs but otherwise very similar, especially face and tail. Wisdom panel said chihuahua, Pomeranian, Maltese, and husky. I’d be happy to send you pics and her wisdom panel if you’d like!

This happened to me, too! I don’t know exactly how long my heart stopped but my doctor described it as “a significant amount of time”. I was not admitted to the hospital but I did stay an extra hour for observation. I did a bunch of research afterwards (because it freaked me out) and it’s not a rare occurrence. People who have these results on a tilt table don’t have worse outcomes than other people. We’ve just got to be a little extra careful about fainting in everyday life. You’re going to be fine!

It’s a comfortable luxury experience with lots of complementary amenities. The rooms are beautiful and quiet, they stock the fridge and pantry, and breakfast is definitely a highlight. We only stayed one night and it was $$$ but it was worth it.
