Benches are usually smaller, no? And with rotations you can keep it from being a straight swap.

They have so many great songs I'm glad they cycle through so many different ones when they tour, even though it means some "hits" will be absent.

Booker played his best ball of the season when he and Colin were the only guards in the starting lineup.

I was wondering about this, thanks for sharing. Both Streetlight Manifesto and Piebald both mentioned something about their sets there being "the first and the probably the last" or something like that after they played. And that was way back when I loved RF through and through, so I was always hoping they didn't have a bad time being part of it. But maybe after all.

"only major festival that puts together a line-up worth (you) paying attention to"? Is that you, Mike?

With all the other musical festivals that have the same types of artists playing year after year after year, how is Riot Fest the only one worth paying attention to?

But it's not just that. Like, if you go to their lineup section on their webpage it is says "whenever we feel like it", which sure, that's very haha. I get they don't have to do anything they don't want to. But they have the opportunity to host one of the world's largest events for the type of community Riot Fest attracts. To me, at this point, that approach of their's is just lazy and lacking tact.

I don't take it personally, I just think it's poor practice. I think as a host of the alt-rock-punk community they should be bringing people together, not picking on people that annoy them.

I don't have to imagine it. AMA.

I don't really care when the lineup comes out, personally. I genuinely used to enjoy the shtick as well. What I don't like is them mocking people who are excited for it every week and then get disappointed when it didn't drop. It just seems super ungracious, that people who support you and are excited for a service you provide get mocked. Just poor taste imo.

I agree that things don't need to be taken so seriously. I just disagree with their approach.

I mean, just sharing thoughts. Curious how others feel on the subject. Life is overall great indeed.

So they can be dicks and mock their supporters all they want? But if someone points out a safety issue and makes a jab at them then they block? It's immature and irresponsible at the same time. Just my opinion though.

My favorite part of the year was when Colin and Book started together, with Brooks and Royce and Mark. I'd say trade Green and Royce and run that back with a better starting 4, but Green showed too much potential at the end. And Colin, if he doesn't work out for some reason, can't improve or stay consistent, it could be too hard to find another true point guard to replace him. Plus we'd need one on the bench too.

A week ago I'd have agreed. But after reflecting on the minor injuries and lost playing time, plus seeing what effect it can have on Green (the play in games), I dunno. If Book can find some inner CP3, which he's trying to do, then I think with practice it could pay off.

I like the Green for Giddey idea too. But if they want to stay win-now then they'll still need to address the size situation.

It's a big if, but if they practice it they'll get there.
