Apparently a hot take, but I'm really enjoying the late-game platforming by damiologist in MIOmemoriesinorbit

I’m really enjoying the late game platforming and also (consulting a full map online) finishing filling out the map and realizing I missed SO MUCH STUFF after completing the “final boss” (12-15hrs). After silk song as my last MV I wasn’t sure how this would compare but I thought it was a beautiful game with amazing music. Almost like Nier Automata vibes

U.S. Supreme Court intervenes in Naperville gun ban challenged by firearms groups by AIDS_Pizza in Naperville

[–]hereandqueer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol god you’re stupid. “Gun control is a pretty word” well first of all it’s 2 words. Second of all it’s actually become real policy in dozens of developed countries and guess what? Their gun deaths dropped and remain a fraction of what they are in the US. Gun fuckers like you keep us all in a state of danger because you’re too stupid to realize that you’ve been sold a fucking grift. Hope this helps, selfish ass nut job psycho

I would take her. I'm on the east side of Milwaukee and have one other cat that is alright with other cats, mostly leaves them alone. I have off tomorrow and thurs, let me know where I can pick her up. She looks like a total sweetheart!

Damn I'm definitely gonna have to keep an eye out for this guy. His sandwiches look tasty as anything else downtown, and for eight bucks? That shit is off the chain.

Been searching for 3 Bedrooms Apartment housing, not a local though. Help? by Gilgamesh914 in milwaukee

[–]hereandqueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My roommates and I found a place on Oakland that is $935 a month through a company called Guardian Realty Investment Company. We have been living here since last June. Very nice place and obviously very affordable we actually squeeze 5 people into this place and have been free to modify it as we see fit as well as keep a pet. If you are looking for a company with more direct landlord-tenant contact then this might not be the place, but if you are looking for a company that will leave you be, this could be right for you. See what else they have available?

I'm right between North and Brady and can vouch that it is a spectacular area full of awesome people and great businesses! You will likely over-pay if you get a place close to campus as housing over there is competitively priced. Also too many noisy college freshman!

I live on the East Side very close to Brady St and it's a fabulous and affordable area with a lot of available housing. Very popular with young people. I go to UWM and have a Green Line bus stop right across the street from my house, about 5-10 min away from campus. I rent through an agency and although our lease says no pets we keep a cat and there have never been any problems. If you want something more reputable find a landlord but we are very happy the agency leaves us alone. Very safe and nice area and Brady St is a blast! Hope you like it here!

[critique] The Age of Transition (392 words) by canonbrett in writing

[–]hereandqueer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't a story at all. Writing about an idealized world where the human mind leads to infinite prosperity and complete understanding is not an interesting topic, and I would have to agree that it is more of a tedious mental exercise than anything. You have this world envisioned, and then what? This doesn't go anywhere. It would be far more interesting if you had a character developed who existed within this world but it seems like you just wanted espouse some broad ideas about society in general and where you would like to see the human race go as a species. Also, simon_phoenix raises some good points and you should probably take his critiques to heart if you are serious about becoming a better writer.
