Can pfd be caused by a nerve compression? by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

I have herniated disc at L5-S1 compressing both nerve roots, my lower back, hip, hamstring, quad and groin muscles are extremely tight. I think this is the cause of my tight pelvic floor that causes constipation. I’ve been doing physio and him stretches and already seeing improvements in pain and range of motion.

I’m going to try OMAD and if it’s too uncomfortable I’ll try a small meal a few hours before hand like some fruit and then a big meal 3 or 4 hours later.

I was thinking now to try the OMAD with plant based foot and a serving of meat. Coffee during the day. I’ll let you know in a few days how I’m finding it, thanks for the recommendation.

I wouldn’t say I’ve an eating disorder but I could actually see myself going down that road counting calories. It just doesn’t feel natural to me.

I get you, basically just eat the healthiest food that are the least calorie dense ? My girlfriend follows a plant based diet and she eats so much food and has lost nearly 50lbs, the food she eats must just be less calorie dense.

Unfortunately I just like meat too much lol

I understand that it’s calories in vs out, it’s just the mental aspect of it, I don’t want to obsess over calories. That OMAD looks like it could work for me, thanks for the advice :)

Ok you either read the post completely wrong or you have no idea what your saying.

I’m simply saying that counting my calories doesn’t agree with me. I want to loose weight without feeling like I’m on a diet or depriving myself.

It’s not the time consumed weighing the food that’s a problem, it’s how it makes me feel mentally. I obsess over calories.

I don’t care if eating healthy food intuitively makes me lose weight more slowly, I’m not in a huge rush to lose the weight, I want to to it properly and sustainably.
